AMAZING!!! Price is up there but you have to try it. It was 3 of us and we all had steaks, it was amazing. I had the tomahawk steak, best I've ever had

Great food, excellent service. Staff was very attentive. Covid precautions in place but not obtrusive. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

Fabulous food...steak was excellent..

Amanda our waitress was very tentative and nice. If you like grass fed beef then its for you but we raise our own cattle and grain fed so the steaks were not to our liking. The scallops were delicious and the oysters as well however small for the price when your used to Apalachicola oysters.

Food was pretty good, not great. Our server was wearing a see through mesh mask, which kind of ruined our experience.

water tasted metallic, like unfiltered tap water.
carrots were a little too crunchy and beets were a little mushy.

Our party of five ordered dishes different from each other. Each of us was very impressed with our meal. The steaks, all different and prepared at different temperatures were perfection. The fish dish was also superb. The side dishes, which were included in the price of the entrée, also delivered. Amanda, who waited on us, was fabulous!

This has always been one of our go-to restaurants. They were shut down for a few months due to Covid but has come roaring back I think better than ever. One of the best steaks you will eat anywhere-and I mean from NYC to Chicago 1700 has them beat. Don't let little old Harrisburg PA fool you.

Service was phenomenal , atmosphere was great !! Our steaks were completely burnt , potatoes were very good , the Blue cheese wedge salad was delicious . Bread pudding was more like a cobbler . I get the 1700 degree but our steaks went pass that ! I have been to many high end Steak Restaurants. Ben and Jacks in NYC, Ruth Chris , Fogo De Chao and our Steaks have been perfectly cooked .

This place was amazing, the food, every detail and the price was worth every penny. The flavors were sensational..seasonings. We had he oysters which were fresh and delicious! The Wagu Filet was so delicious and so reasonably priced compared to being in Philadelphia. Our drinks and service, were phenomenal. I only wish I had enough room in my tummy to order fish and steak. I will definitely be back!!

We recently ate here for our wedding anniversary and could have not picked s better place. The service was OUTSTANDING! Rob was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to recommend a perfect wine pairing. My husband and I both had the wagu and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was just as amazing. And the cherry on top was how safe we felt. All of the tables were 6 feet apart, every staff member had a well fitting mask that was worn properly and there was hand sanitizer readily available. They definitely took the appropriate covid precautions needed to truly enjoy your night out. My husband and I will absolutely go back again! I can't rave enough about it!

It was the perfect date night for the two of us. We are steak lovers and were not disappointed. Waitress was so patient with us as we were first timers and we really enjoyed the time together.

The blackened steaks were fabulous!

The seafood sampler was good: the shrimp were huge and succulent, the crab was good, the oysters were small but tasty.

1700 used to be one of our favorite restaurants to go to! This particular visit, we had a reservation for two people for 7:30PM and we were not seated until after 8:00PM. The restaurant did take care of our first round of drinks for this error, but it was very frustrating to take the time to make a reservation and see multiple open tables but have to wait that length of time just to be seated. It also did not seem that anyone was concerned about having us seated sooner, and we contemplated leaving. Once finally seated, our waitress for this visit was exceptional and was the best part of the experience overall. The food quality in the past was exceptional, with steak that melted in your mouth, however, on this particular visit, the food did not seem up to par with what we had experienced in the past at this restaurant. We have always spoken very highly of this restaurant, but it seems that the quality has decreased in the last few months. We will probably think twice about driving the 30 minutes to visit this restaurant due to our negative experience.

The steaks were delicious and our salads were very good, as were the drinks. However, we were very disappointed with the seafood appetizer; it was grossly over priced for the quality. Though the shrimp was delicious, the crab was so-so and the lobster was very rubbery & tasteless & it was not served with the traditional drawn butter. Especially disappointing was our server. He was polite, but not very helpful or friendly. He did not seem to be especially busy, but did not make himself very accessible to us & we seemed to be a bother to him. It truly detracted from our experience.

Mark was phenomenal. Food exceeded all expectations and the overall visit was as amazing as we could’ve hoped!
