   Best brisket in Dallas and it's not even close. The appetizers and sides are phenomenal as well. It's not always easy to find places with burnt ends, but these are very very good. Highly recommend the smoked salmon appetizer as well as it is very unique and tasty. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

   The whole night was great. Everything from the welcoming greeting from the host to the great food. Our waitress was amazing! So sweet and attentive. There was not one thing on our table that we did not love. The food here is delicious!!!

   That robot that carries the food out is not only distracting but completely ruins the ambience of the restaurant. It also did not seem to be doing a good job at all.

   Not from Texas, first time in Dallas. I wanted some good BBQ and was traveling with a vegetarian work colleague. 18th and Vine was a perfect spot! Our server was friendly, informative about the menu and drinks, and provided great service. My colleague had the cauliflower steak and I had meat for two! Every dish we had was delicious. (I was told the cauliflower steak was good. It was certainly substantial!) The brisket was incredible and I enjoyed the ribs too. The apple slaw was way better than your average slaw and the Brussels sprouts were amazing! The leaves were crispy and flakey and the flavor was great. And of course the brownie dessert was decadent and rich. Perhaps a cake-like brownie but definitely delicious. I recommend splitting the meal for two… between two. I’m sure I was moving at half the speed as when I arrived. Highly recommended.

   I went to 18th & Vine on Sunday for my birthday, and the food was pretty Good. The customer service was absolutely excellent. Loved Blake who served us and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My dessert was delicious Brownie and Ice cream

    OMG!! I'm from Texas and know my BBQ but this Kansas style BBQ was absolutely divine. We enjoyed everything and plan on making them a monthly restaurant. The burnt ends were so tender.

    Walked in and waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged by any staff. It was not busy. There were 3-4 tables seated and a couple ladies at the bar. Nobody else was waiting. Had I been familiar with the area we would have walked out and found something else. Once seated we told our waiter we had tickets for an event down the street in 90 minutes. The waiter did a great job of getting our initial order but seemed overwhelmed once the dining room started to fill up. Our brisket was primarily fat but the rest of the food was pretty good. We didn’t get to experience our dessert that we ordered about 20 minutes before we needed to leave. We never saw our waiter after he told us there was a hang up in the kitchen…with a brownie a la mode. We left without the dessert we paid for but at that point we had given up on a positive experience. Most frustrating is we have been to this restaurant numerous times. We live about an hour away but love all things Kansas City so we have loved having a KC BBQ joint in Dallas. It’ll be hard to convince myself to come back after this experience.

    Food was great. There weren’t too many there minus a party upstairs. Service was a little slow (took just about 2 hours for the whole thing). Team was super nice though and everything was delicious. Our waitress even kept perfect track of multiple checks, including splitting items between! Her recommendations were also on point. Would definitely do it again.

    It's clear they're understaffed and trying to make it work. Our server was very friendly but seemed pulled away from having to work the kitchen. There was holes in the ceilings inside and ants on the tables outside. The ribs were great but the brisket was awful. Really hit and miss, downhill for sure.

    From San Diego and hit this restaurant after landing at Love Field. What a find. Food was absolutely fantastic. Owner was great. Service was great. If I lived in Dallas this would easily be a place I would call one of my local “go to” places. Great place to hang with friends. Did I mention the food was fantastic . . .

    first visit. Not quite as good as we expected. Burnt ends, not so much. Pulled pork a bit chewy and dry. Fried okra was quite good though it needed to be served hot and salted right after the fry basket. While our server was very engaging, was also equally slow. definitely will try again.

    The restaurant was closed for a private event yet they still took our reservation in advance. When we arrived, there wasn’t anyone that apologized. We enjoy the food here but we’ were extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled. Not likely to go back anytime soon.

    Restaurant was dead for Easter Day…that should have been first clue of coming experience. Waited about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at hostess stand. Seated in bar area, which was painted completely black and had zero ambiance. Waited another 5 minutes before waiter acknowledged us. All starving, so ordered 3 appetizers: Burnt ends were good; fried okra was amazing; potato skins platter had three halves—on a plate that could have easily held 4-6 more (rip-off). Brisket was tough; ribs were good but seemed a bit burnt; sausage was awful—dry and waited texture. French fries and Mac n cheese were good; cheese grits were a miss. Brownie pie was outstanding; peach crumble seemed to have canned peaches for filling and the crumble topping lacked any pizzazz. Overall, a huge miss, especially since it was Easter Day and this was our big meal.

    The burnt ends appetizer were amazing - like meat candy! The portion sizes of the entrees were huge. Blake was our server and he was fabulous. Would recommend!this BBQ place for great food and service.

    Thanks to other reviewers we tried the burnt ends as our app, I would have been happy with that as a meal and skipping right to a desert, next time. The Hubbs ordered the ribs, I had the brisket if I could have had the sauce that came with the burnt ends with my brisket I'm pretty sure I would have been in heaven. At first fork I thought I missed the bite, my fork cut through like a hot knife in butter, it was unreal. Protip: come here when you have an evening to enjoy the company around you, and take your time. Like everywhere, staffing issues are affecting the speed of service, they are doing what they can, including having a meal delivery "cat robot" that is an experience unto itself. App: Beef Tips = amazing Meals: Ribs = Good, Brisket= delightful Sides: fries = meh, seasoned well, but still just fries. We ordered the mac n'cheese but it did not arrive, and we needed to head out before that was addressed. I would go back, especially with out-of-town guests or friends I just wanted to soak every moment in with.

    Friendly Service, Amazing Food!!! The waiter was confident, we told him it was our first time, and he did not hesitate to make suggestions, from cocktails to desert his suggestions were spot on. We will definitely make it a destination on our next trip to Dallas. The robot server was very friendly too and took time to pose for a pictures.
