This was our first time there and it was fantastic. Server/bartender was really nice. Able to hustle around, take care of everyone and still provide friendly service. We will absolutely be back
The portion of monk fish was smaller than a chicken strip. The other fish dish tasted like it was drowned in bottled brown gravy. Fish and chips, lobster roll and mussels were delicious. The calamari rings were extremely small so all you tasted was batter. The mint chip ice cream was very good. The infused drinks that used to be tasty were sugared down in premade containers.
One of my family's favorite restaurants. First time back after the pandemic. Felt safer to see partitions between tables. Also, there are several tables with umbrellas outside. Luscious lunch! Loved everything...husband got lobster bisque (first brought crab chowder, but quickly fixed the mix up). His fish & chips were very tasty & gobbled up quickly. I LOVED choosing from a fresh selection of raw oysters. I opted for 3 varieties (reccommended by server) that I never had before. They were served icy cold with 3 complimentary sauces. We also shared crispy calamari. Now, I was full & I had a lobster Cobb salad, yet. I ate some & took the rest home. (This Green Goddess dressing seemed a little vinegry to me.) As lunch progressed, more people arrived & it became noisier proving that everyone was enjoying themselves with their lunches:)
Excellent service and food...as always!! Able to accommodate a vegetarian. Drinks were great as well.
Always a great place to come for great food , atmosphere and service.
While the food was good, the level of noise was absolutely ridiculous which ruined our dining experience. I also had the worst Margarita ever.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. We were looking for a good seafood restaurant with a raw bar. This restaurant was amazing!!!! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. My husband loved the oysters. We are definitely looking forward to going back. Highly recommend this restaurant. Clean and great ambiance. Staff is welcoming and very efficient.
It was just okay. My daughter recommended them so I guess we were expecting more. Too expensive for the amount and quality of the food.
Hands down the best restaurant in Easton. My wife and I can't get enough.
Nice place, fresh seafood. Waited at the table 45mins for our food. Waiter didn't offer any bread with our wait. Will go back for the oysters.
The food was good especially the oysters. We were seated upstairs on the far end and were there for 15 minutes when my husband got someone’s attention. The waitress came by and said she didn’t know we were there. After that the service was ok not great.
Fantastic food, great service, good vibes! Gets pretty packed around 530 on a Friday! make reservations to be on the safe side.
Great oysters and service was very nice. We enjoyed our dinner very much.
Malcom was awesome, everyone we came in contact with yesterday was awesome! We needed this dinner as a family. My Father just finished 44 rounds of Radiation. I live 1hr n 1/2 away and we wanted to enjoy a nice meal and celebrate. My daughter was also home from college . We were very pleased with our visit and will be back again.
Thank you 😊
Delicious meals and truly enjoyed the Sunday specials like buck a shuck Virginia oysters & mimosas. Happy to be seated upstairs, easier to have conversation. Will return
Great atmosphere, great service, the food was very good, and the oysters were awesome!
My only negative is the noise level. The hanging partitions between the tables helps and creates a more personal atmosphere. The oysters were outstanding! The service is outstanding. I had the fried sampler. It was without a doubt the best “fried” seafood I have ever eaten. The breading was so light that it just enhanced the flavors of the seafood, not over powering. Love, love love this place!
We usually love this place but the crab stuffed mushrooms were burnt on top and too much garlic and the bacon wrapped scallops were also overcooked and too much garlic. Not worth the amount they charge for such a small quantity of food, and we were told that's how their stuffed mushrooms are made. It'll be awhile until we go back!
I liked the curtains hanging between the tables. They were due to covid but provided privacy in a small space.
Awesome food, excellent service, so attentive! Everyone from bartenders to wait staff. Great night! Thank you
Have eaten at this establishment before enjoyed very much. Yesterday we ate in a basement my appetizers 2 cups of soup took an hour starters were warm almost cold. Jack Daniel's cocktail was $14 . Really ? .
Everything was great! We had wonderful time at 3rd & ferry fish market.
Noisy-good food-too pricey
Excellent dinner from drinks to appetizers to dinner. We skipped dessert as we had other plans, but highly recommend this resturant... we were seated downstairs which was much more quieter than the upstairs.. wil definitely return, it can get expensive but it's worth it..
The oysters were to die for!!! Will definitely be back.
We love this place and go back quite frequently for my seafood-adoring family! Had another extremely enjoyable meal there yesterday and the service was outstanding. Very accommodating! My husband enjoyed the fish tacos. My mother had a lobster roll with ENORMOUS chunks of lobster and NOT a bunch of extra filling. Dad loved his fish and chips. The chef made a special veggie pasta for me as I'm plant-based. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Each time we come here, the food is always spectacular. Great ambience as well. Love Third and Ferry!
After not being there for a while, due to the pandemic, it was wonderful to see that the restaurant was full, the food was as good, if not better than we remembered, and best of all, we were remembered by the servers. Great night!! Thank you, everyone, especially Sarah U.
Two plus hours Friday night to get our food. And it was cold.
Prices were almost double 81.50 for two crab legs.
Drinks were not good. Messed up our order there as well.
Came in at 6:00 didn’t see dinner til 8:30
Been there 3 times now. Took friends whom were very disappointed.
Embarrassing for us as we told them how great it was last time.
Server did best he could. No excuses for two hours cold food. We didn’t send back cause it was already 8:30. Could have been another hour heating up the food.
We were told they could not get help. Short staffed. Of course that’s understood due to the stupid unemployment extensions by Government morons.
Economy service and getting a hot dinner out are not part of new normal. Just dissatisfied this third time out.
We will however not be back for at least a year now til things come down. Just not worth the time, money or cold food taste.
Two and a half hour wait for dinner to be served. Way to long of a wait.
If you go, definitely DON’T let them seat you in the basement. Our first time here so we didn’t know any better. Not a $100 fir 2 experience in the basement. Otherwise, we’ll be back but upstairs for sure.
Food was good. Selection was lacking. No traditional surf-n-turf option - weird. Great cocktails! Great wait staff!
Food was inedible. So salty and over cooked. Had the twin lobster tails and had to return the
Fabulous AS ALWAYS
Great food and service, everything came out within a timely manner
The food at 3rd and Ferry was pretty good, however, they were short staffed and we waited 2 hours to receive our dinner. The other patrons around us all waited about 2 hours to eat as well. The staff seemed to be a bit unorganized, as they didn't know which table to bring the food and drinks to. I've had a good experience with 3rd and Ferry in the past, but this last time was not very good.
Hi Terry, Thank you for understanding our situation of being short staffed in most cases we are able to adapt and unfortunately not the case on the night you joined us in which I send my deepest apologies. If you would like to further discuss your dining experience please feel free to email me at danyak@belmonthosp. Sincerely, Danya Kinsman
It will be a very long time before we go back to the restaurant.
Good food, good service despite being understaffed. BIG negative was the noise level. VERY LOUD! While sitting at a small table upstairs, we could not communicate over our meal and both of us experienced hearing pain. The only relief possible was to leave the building.
This was our first time. I had high expectations, but it was pretty disappointing. The drinks were pretty good, but not on par with other local restaurants. The service was also good and the restaurant is cute. The food left a lot to be desired and the wait for our food was very long. We got the stuffed mushroom app and it lacked flavor and salt. I got the haddock over risotto. The fish was delicious and was cooked perfectly, but it was slathered with straight Dijon mustard. I kept getting overwhelming bites of raw mustard that over powered everything. The pesto was ok, but lacked flavor and battled the flavor of the mustard. The risotto was wet and bland. There were two crispy pieces of bacon as a garnish. I love bacon and it wasn’t great bacon. Also leaving the pieces whole made it hard to eat and looked unrefined. The dish was not well composed. My husband got the seared scallops over pea puree. The scallops were also cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. The pea puree was thick, starchy, and clunky. It completely detracted from the scallops. The wilted greens were overly bitter and poorly seasoned. The asparagus was ok, but it was not evenly grilled and under seasoned. It was advertised to include a pancetta crisp which was not quality product. For the prices and ambiance, we expected a much better meal. Not sure if we will try this one again.
Hi Sarah, We apologize for your experience. If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to email me at danyak@belmonthosp Sincerely, Danya Kinsman
Friendly staff and food was great. We will definitely be going back
Had the shrimp and grits. It was on the dry side. Needed some better texture or cream/flavor. Received 7 small shrimp and grits for 26$. Someone in my party has the lobster roll which looked good and they said it was very tasty
