There had been a flier in 75's neighborhood advertising a special seasonal set of options both in desserts and special cocktails, etc. The server had heard nothing of the promotion (it was the final day of a 10 event) and finally did find out from the bartender that he could produce one of specials offered. It made me feel dumb for asking or going there to those special offerings, and it made the server feel even sillier. (Perhaps better communication between the various "sister" restaurants. [unimportantly my favorite regular entrée had been removed from the menu and my guest or i had pre-decided to choose, but it's gone for the season??? the lamb burger.]
we did have a lovely time and enjoyed heartily what we did have.
Everything was great, but everyone just felt the eggs benedict were a little overcooked - we like them runny!
As always- FABULOUS! Kendra Keye
Very accommodating (needed to make the theater by 7:30 p.m., ran late with traffic into Boston)
Excellent food all around for 4 guests. Food is consistent, and a great menu. Try the Seafood Stew!
Service energized with the spirit you expect in Boston, from the hostess to the Bartender, to the young lady who smiles when she delivers your food. Reserve in advance. Best kept secret in Boston has become quite popular.
Father’s Day dinner was excellent. We always eat at 75 when we are in Boston. We are always welcomed back. The food is fresh and delicious. It is not over salted so the good taste comes thru. Service is friendly and well versed in the options. Clean and glasses are checked for water spots. Great selections and wine list and cocktail choices are varied and unique. Prices are very reasonable. Dining room seating and bar seating available. Recommend reservations but if early arrival they are usually able to accommodate
Fathers Day Brunch
Wonderful in every way! It is the perfect neighborhood restaurant, still, and I hope forever.
We were so pleased with our meal here. Food and service were superb and lots of choice on the menu. One of our party chose a burger and said it was the best he has ever had!
Easy walking distance across the Common from the theatre district so suited us ideally. Would definitely recommend it.
Food and service were outstanding.
The entrees were brought a little early , almost immediately after the appetizers. I would have like a few minutes in-between.
We love this restaurant. A real gem. Great atmosphere, great food, reasonably priced.
We had a fantastic dinner. I booked on open table because we wanted a quick bite nearby and I had no idea where to go. We were very pleasantly surprised at how amazing this quaint restaurant was. We came about 15 min prior to our reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was helpful in recommending dishes. We had the crispy cauliflower appetizer, which was perfectly spicy, sweet, and crunchy. I had the salmon entree, and my husband had the Nantucket seafood stew. We both loved our dishes. In fact the food was far better than other more expensive places. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
We had a reservation, but there were a couple seats at the bar - our preference. Service was great and fellow patrons friendly. Two thumbs up!
We were visiting Boston and family recommenced this to us as a cap to our vacation- we were greeted at the front and confirmed our reservation. The hostess multitasked prior to seating us. There was a group meeting at the bar for the neighborhood group that contributed to the noise level. Our waiter came over promptly and helped in our choice of dinner. Service was quick and the food delicious. It’s a neighborhood gem
Just as fine a place to eat as in years past! Small and unique dining establishment.
Food excellent waitress excellent overall experience excellent
Nos encanta el ambiente de este restaurante pero esta vez la comida vino preparada con mucho aceite. Pedimos unos vegetales al grill que venían excesivamente aceitosos.
Betsy was fun and delightful!
Friendly and buzzy little neighbourhood restaurant. Service a bit hit and miss, but it was busy. Portions by Australian standards are HUGE!
Lovely neighborhood place. Charming, not too noisy, very good food and staff.
Classic beacon hill vibe, very delicious fresh food
I had an excellent time dining here with my mom and grandmother. All 3 of us enjoyed the food! We wish they were open for lunch more frequently.
Wine Wednesday was a pleasant surprise.
Food was not great. Had the lobster Mac n cheese and was highly disappointed - no flavor at all.
Perfect Mother’s Day brunch....love their menu and the ambience in the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood
The only reason I refrained from giving 4 stars is that some substitions were made to the dish I ordered so it differed from the description on the menu. I wasn’t informed of this and I didn’t want to mention it because it always ruins the meal for everyone when you wait while everyone else eats, and then they wait while you eat. It’s something I notice restaurants do assuming the sides dishes or accompaniments don’t matter whereas it’s what I based my decision on when I was having trouble deciding between two dishes. The particular vegetables that are my favorites were supposed to be with the dish were changed into vegetables I don’t care for. Seems like a minor thing but it’s something I find extremely annoying.
This is one of my favorite places to dine for brunch! It is a perfect and quaint spot in beautiful Beacon Hill. The menu has great offerings for breakfast and lunch. Their bloody mary’s are outstanding - almost a meal in itself!
It’s one of my favorite restaurants. We had a reservation at 10:30 pm and the place closes soon . The waiters didn’t rush us . Staff was super friendly . Food and drinks was great . Couldn’t ask for a better night .
Best bloody mary bar!!! Love that they have a new vegan entree!
A hidden gem near Beacon Hill delicious food in an inundate and cozy atmosphere.
Skirt steak special was delicious.
We have eaten here many times, and each time is superb. Starting with a warm reception from the lovely hostess, you feel like you have wandered into a homey but elegant neighborhood restaurant. We have never had a meal less than excellent. The steak tips, chicken dish and Caesar salad are all particularly tasty. The service is very attentive without being obnoxious. You can never go wrong eating here. We arrived right at 5 because we were going to a local game, and within minutes it was full. We recommend reservations. One of our very favorite restaurants in Boston.
Relaxed spot, easy to visit with friends. Lunch/brunch wasn't fancy and easy to get a seat even on Cinqo de Mayo.
Dessert was outstanding...creme brulee trio and the banana pudding - wow! Ambiance and service were excellent as well. Entrees were ok, but nothing special.
Excellent food and service. Nice warm friendly atmosphere.
Wow...the food was amazing! I joined colleagues for a party of seven business dinner. Everyone's dinner was served to perfection. Love the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Looking forward to inviting my husband to dinner. ♥️
I liked the warm atmosphere. The sirloin steak sandwich was excellent.
Loved finding this gem of a restaurant. Will definitely visit again next time in Boston!
Such great service! Got there early they sat us right away and even gave us a special seat knowing it was an anniversary date. Loved everything about this restaurant! Definitely will go back.
Brought friends who were visiting from out of town here for dinner. Service was great, food was really excellent (they have a way with salmon, we had both the special and the one on the regular menu). Salads are also really excellent. Impressive wines by the glass and really spot-on cocktails. All in all, an extremely charming and cozy atmosphere. We love this place!
Great ambience, service and creative menu with lots of good options. Delicious steak tips, Mediterranean plate appetizer, and fish and chips. A Beacon Hill gem!
