Food and drinks were amazing! Perfect pre-show spot!
Food and drinks were excellent, however it was our friend’s birthday and we had marked that in open table but it wasn’t acknowledged by our server.
Great place to grab a bite pre theater show.
Very happy with Abby Lane. My daughter and I had dinner before show, service was pleasant and prompt. Our server, Dave, was attentive, but not intrusive, food was delicious and properly cooked, the fried chicken was amazing, wine list had several lovely selections, and the cocktails sounded wonderfully refreshing, making it hard to choose just one. I cant remember the drinks name, but it was something with gin and pineapple, and it was amazing. Definitely recomend, and we will be back!
Pre-show dining prior to Les Mis. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Food was excellent, service was prompt and pleasant. Kids loved their food and so did we. Nice job!
Great table by the windows, delicious food, prompt cordial service, clean bathrooms, across from and around the corner from the play houses... we had a GREAT experience and would strongly recommend it to friends and family
Everyone had something different . The cocktails were excellent and creative. The filet mignon was ordered med/ rare and was too rare and very chewy especially for a $30 meal . Other meals like the Mac and cheese and chicken were very good however.
We really enjoyed the meal. Our waiter was very nice and made great suggestions. The boneless fried chicken is 💣💣
Sliders were amazing: highly recommended! a LOT of children for Sunday brunch, if you're looking for a family-friendly location
Lunch before Boston ballet
Great restaurant with quality food at reasonable prices! Our waitress was very friendly, and accommodating! The food was amazing, classics with a twist!
Excellent pre-theater lunch with my husband and 2-year-old nephew who we were taking to see Paw Patrol Live! They even had a Paw Patrol color page for him to work on and a great kids' menu. The restaurant was filled with other theater-goers and it was the perfect touch to our nephew date day!
Food was hot, fresh and great flavor.
Server was pkeassnt
Good food. Great cocktails. Friendly staff.
Our waitress, Fiji, was top notch --- the hostess upon arrival was quite abrupt and not very welcoming at all. Despite the coldness of our first few minutes of being shown to our table, Fiji, the food, and the atmosphere more than made up for it and we will be back. Perhaps we just caught the hostess in a bad moment...
Caught a bite to eat before heading to a show. The food was good, staff friendly and efficient and great location.
Great spot for a meal before a show at the Wilbur. Love the sizeable glasses of Cava they pour.
If you go early, it is not noisy.
Terrific food and excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Very close to Emerson Cutler theater - which was just what we were looking for. Booking recommended My roasted avocado salad was heavy on the crispy topping and the bacon would have been better in smaller pieces but generally tasted good. My partner's burger was good. Great coffee and service. We will go again
We were seated upstairs. It was so noisy that people were actually shouting to one another to be heard.
Perfect spot for pre-theater bite, as they have small plates as well as larger entrees. Casual and not too pricey.
Very friendly and helpful waiter - she made a few trips to the bar just to get us the right information.
Perfect for pre-theatre dinner. Food was good and family friendly. Glad we made reservation. Got a great table!
Perfect place for pre-theater lunch if you keep to the sandwich and salad offerings. Otherwise, an expensive lunch.
Great before show dinner location. We arrived late but were promptly seated at a table near the kitchen. Our waiter was suburb, recommending dishes, drinks, etc. One of us couldn't decide between a draft beer or cider, so he encouraged her to try the beer and if she didn't like it, then go to the cider instead. He brought her a draft beer that wasn't to her liking, so he took it off the bill and brought the cider. I will be returning here next time I've got a show in the neighborhood!
Nice place to go before or after a show. We just had appetizers and drinks, the sangria was good, my drink was too strong to taste like much else but rum. The baked Brie was good but the nachos were lame. Our server was great.
Stopped here for dinner prior to a show. Food was great, convenient and service was excellent.
Pleasant atmosphere, very good food and friendly service
Located across the street from the Wilbur theater , which was where we were attending a show, it was
the perfect spot for a bite. Great atmosphere and menu. Would highly recommend for anytime ... but especially if you are attending a show. Easy parking in the Tremont St. garage and short walk to restaurant and several theaters right there !
-Great server- perfect for pre- theater-everything we ate was very good- very busy- pretty noisy-we would definitely go back
Great spot to have dinner before going to the theater!
Excellent drinks and amazing burgers...juicy and cooked perfectly! The donuts are a must for dessert!
Abby Lane was an ideal destination post a Boch Center show. The Host/Hostess were terrific in accommodating a delayed arrival due to our show running late. Nachos app was phenomenal. Burgers, fried chicken and onion soup were all superb.
We really enjoyed our meal at Abbey Lane. We had the nachos, iron skillet roasted brea, salad, and grilled salmon. It was all delicious! I especially loved the pickles. Not sure if they are homemade in house but I'd buy a barrel full if I could! The cocktails were wonderful, apply martini and the expresso martini black were made to perfection. Our water was amazing too.
Pictures deceive....This is essentially a bar that serves food to a loud crowd. The drinks were strong and well priced but the food not good at all. Our burgers were overcooked and tasteless. Pork dish eh. The only standout was the falafel appetizer. Quite disappointing but for its very convenient location in the theatre district.
Loud but overall good atmosphere and great food. Something for ever in our group.
Food, service and promptness were outstanding. We stuck to burgers and sandwiches and gluten free and everything was delicious. A bit more of a sports bar vibe than I expected but that was okay too, for us. Convenient to a number of theatres. Would definitely come again and try other dishes.
Food is always great. Super fresh and delicious. Wait staff is also very helpful and attentive.
This is my favorite place to meet for a bite and cocktail before a show. The jalapeno burger was perfect - the fries were crunchy and the Malbec was lovely. So was our server.
Second visit and we were not disappointed .Great service and the food was excellent
We were so pleased with our choice to eat at Abby Lane prior to the Dean Lewis show at the Royale. We had never been to your restaurant before and were VERY happy with the food, the wine and especially the service. We sat near the fireplace which was just awesome. Thank you for making our night even more special!!!
