Adalya
The Lamb chops were made to perfection. The Mediterranean salad was so fresh and hand cut fries were deliciously crisp. I tried every cocktail and they were all WAVEY!!!! Looking forward to coming back.
A heater, partitions, great food, great service. Pretty much all you need for a pleasant pandemic brunch.
Great food and great service!
Cute little place near Union Square. Interesting menu as it says Mediterranean, but randomly has tacos and burgers...? Regardless, the octopus was really great. Highly recommend! They also have happy hour so get there before 7! The staff was just fantastic and really accommodating.
Nice selection on Meze platter. Wine was a bit pricey, even for NYC.
Restaurant was dark. Some of the dishes were hit or miss. One waiter serving a large section so there was some delay in ordering and getting our check
we will be back to try other things from the menu. We had a great experience and everything was delicious.
Food- mediocre.
Ventilation is poor- is very warm especially sitting in back of restaurant.
Service- average maybe slightly below.
excellent turkish food--and plenty of options for vegetarians.
we asked to sit in the back, away from the bar, for the quiet--which made dinner esply pleasant.
The service was extremely slow. The food was not horrible it not very good. The atmosphere was loud. It could be a cozy place if it had good food and service. It had a hooping bar scenes. Go there for drinks
Food was good. Place was boiling hot on arrival. Had to ask twice to lower / turn off heat... Had to wait an inordinate amount of time for the final entree to arrive. No decaf coffee?! Not very attentive service ... had to ask twice for wine. Food was good though.
Just doesn't work to have a restaurant separated with a curtain from the very loud bar section. Not to mention dining while they moved an entire bench out of the restaurant in order to accommodate musicians that were coming in to play. All very odd.
Poor experience. There were cockroaches on the wall right next to our table. It was disgusting and when we told our server he said “yeah they sprayed in here today, so the bugs come out!” Never going back. Besides that loud and service not great.
Service was so nice and attentive, they let us stay till late for being a Monday. The food was good and the atmosphere too. This is perfect for a group hang out.
Literally waited an hour to even have our orders taken. At any given time it was unclear who our server was...or if we even had one.
Love to come here for happy hour!
The food was pretty disappointing, especially for the price.
Had a great time here! Bartenders Caner and Mami were great guys. Food is delicious and amazing cocktails are being served. Great spot for happy hour. Overall I am so glad to discover this spot.Definetly will be back.
I had great time here today.happy hour here has great many options. Service was amazing. The team knows their stuff and they are very friendly. Meet the guys Caner and Mami. They are fun people! Food is delicious here and great cocktails.
Great food. Great beer choices. Great service. Not crowded between 6&7:30pm Thursday nights.
Six of us went for dinner before a 9PM show at the Daryl Roth Theatre. Good location, comfortable space. Food was good for the price, but the service was a bit disappointing. We were early, which wasn't a problem, but the server seemed a bit overwhelmed by us. We did want to order apps first but he forgot to take drink orders. After a while we had to track him down. When the bill was put on the table, we gave them two cards to split. When they brought the bill for us to sign, they had charged someone else's dinner by mistake. It was a similar total to ours, so it took us a minute to catch it. It's a small restaurant which we really liked, but makes the spotty service a bit more puzzling. Definitely go to Adalya, but plan to advocate for yourself a little more than usual.
Really good food, especially the fried cauliflower. Friendly service and sophisticated decor. The tapas and other plates to share were perfect for a girls' dinner. Weeknight wasn't too crowded.
Some dishes were excellent (fried cauliflower, halumi with spinach, tacos) and some were disappointing (brussel sprouts, side of mixed veg and french fries).
To be fair, it’s a Mediterranean restaurant, and we didn’t order any Mediterranean food. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich. The burger was very good, and there was a huge pile of fries, which were ok. The chicken sandwich was nothing special, the chicken was ok, it was weird to have asparagus on it, the sun dried tomato was hard to chew, the melted cheese was good. It, too, came with a huge pile of fries, but I switched out the regular fries for seasoned, curly fries and those were very good. It was happy hour so all beers were $5 but they didn’t have our first request in stock. The place was pretty empty on a Saturday night, but we left at 7:00 pm and it was even more empty. Service was ok but slow, despite the few people there.
Food was great, wine was great, service was great.
I cannot complain, very glad we decided on dinner here.
Will definitely be back.
Strange experience.. went here a year ago and it was awesome. Last night it was like a diner.. laminated menu and French fries. Waitress was annoyed that we were having a conversation when she wanted us to order.
Everything was lovely. Would definitely go back.
Good enough food from a very brief menu. This is basically a bar and, as such, loud. Nice bar, nice drinks and nice bar food. A bit pricey. Not really for a relaxed dinner.
Birthday dinner
We had a very nice dinner. Service was a bit spotty as there was a problem communicating in English. Food was very good.
The menu is significantly different than what you see on Open Table. The food has some good points, but stay away from the pasta. The restaurant was a good place for our large group to eat.
The outdoor seating is really nice in the summer and the staff was attentive and friendly. The appetizers were good but the mains were disappointing given how expensive they were. Overpriced given the quality of the food which was fine but nothing noteworthy. I would not recommend for a full meal but was great for tapas and happy hour, especially if you want to sit outside but not on the sidewalk
Wouldn't rec for the food. Pretty cool place to have a drink. Garden level space with 2? 3? tables outdoors that looked welcoming. Inside dark-ish. Sports televised in bar area. Stop in for a drink and move on for food. Great neighborhood.
Not sure what kind of restaurant this really is...menu on site very different from the one on Open Table...at 10 on a Friday nite the place was almost empty...service guy great but the food was less than mediocre.....way too many other options to ever return.
We tried this restaurant because it was near a theatre performance we would be attending afterwards. We were lucky in that there was hardly anyone there on this holiday weekend and so it was very quiet which we like. We sat in the back and had a pleasant table and waiter although he must have been fairly new because he was basically uninformed but quickly got the answers to our questions and was very sweet. It was Happy Hour so we enjoyed drinks at discounted prices and $1 oysters which were very good. The tapas we tried were all excellent. We can't wait for another reason to be back in this neighborhood and come here again.
No complaints. Food was excellent. Drinks fantastic; would like to go back and try the entire list.
Great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. We sat outside and the people watching was great. All four of us really enjoyed our meals. They were delicious! Would definitely recommend and come back!
Family dinner w/ a fairly large group. Every dish we ordered was delicious and the service was impeccable. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great meal at Adalya - cost effective, tasty food and great wine. Lovely atmosphere - great date spot as well as a larger group get together.
Food was okay. Very small menu- no iced tea and no deserts. We went there to enjoy a nice meal with friends we haven’t seen in awhile. We did enjoy— place was quiet, which enabled good conversation.
