The staff was excellent no complaints whatsoever, exemplary customer service from beginning to end. However the afternoon tea menu lacked, this might not be anyone’s fault. There were no cheese based sandwiches, the selection was very very small with the cakes & sandwiches. The scones were lovely, the best I’ve ever had.
Best Afternoon Tea in London. Can’t fault anything!
One of the best afternoon tea I ever had! Super!
Best place I can think of to go for afternoon tea. This place makes you feel as though you are someplace else and not in a busy city. Great way to take a pause and enjoy great food and live music with friends and family!
Nice afternoon not hurried. Sandwiches were good and offered more offer taken up
The small cakes were ok but too many ingredients rather sweet. We have had better. The staff could have been more attentive eg offering to top up the tea cup
Nice , good views, good food, but service a little bit
Having visited the landmark for high tea with my cousin a very special lady for her birthday, I found the service to be exquisite extremely attentive and excellent eye contact for the clients. However I found that teeth to was grossly expensive which we paid £120 for I didn’t question it at the time because it was a special occasion But I realised the following day when it came up on my statement.
However it’s not that it wasn’t affordable for us it was more a question of the absorber in price for 2 to have tea at the landmark. Yes I will recommend that I will warn them of the prices the rest is up to them.
Great experience and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend this place for afternoon tea
Amazing Experience, probably one of the best Afternoon Teas I have had
This was a return visit for Tea.
Definitely shall come again.
Amazing setting in the atrium in the winter garden. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful afternoon tea in a wonderful setting with wonderful service. They organised the harp player to play Happy Birthday as they brought a little cake on a birthday plate for my partner.
It's quite a lot of money, but def worth it. My parents were stunned
It was a very pleasant afternoon but nothing special, we have had the sunday brunch at the Landmark which was unbelievable, such wonderful attention to detail and a glorious abundance of food but this afternoon tea was fairly average, petty details like only two jams ... why? For the price charged you could put out all the jams and more but it felt a bit like endless finger sandwiches and not to much in terms of cakes and treats, the plate of cakes were a bit tired looking, it was a hot afternoon but they seemed like they had been out of the fridge for a while, unfortunately we ended up feeling a little like it wasn’t worth the money.
Poor service and lack of attention to detail for such a well known establishment
Their afternoon tea is amazing.
Nice surroundings and food :)
Booked this as a special anniversary surprise. The teas and the desserts were very good but the rather boring and non creative sandwiches were not up to the standard of a 5 star hotel. For the expensive price (£45, or £52 with glass of Champaign) we felt a bit sad. It is nice that they offered sandwich “refills” but again while helpful if you are hungry, it does not scream high end to me. The harp player was lovely (even though we were expecting piano). The Wintergarden itself is an amzing venue but bear in mind that all afternoon tea guests are crammed into one corner rather than using up the whole space. I am thankful for being child friendly though. Overall nice but too expensive and lack of special to go back.
Amazing experience I would definitely recommend this place for everyone. It is slightly pricey however it was worth it you will truly enjoy your experience there it is out of this world.
It was simply amazing.
Beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff. Recommended!
Can’t go wrong for afternoon tea at the Landmark.
Environment is perfect. Suitable for taking photo. But the dessert is quite normal. Scones are not good. In Easter holiday, we have to order the afternoon tea with a champagne, despite we don’t want to drink.
My mother, sister and I had a lovely afternoon. The staff were very attentive and the sandwiches kept coming. Thoroughly enjoyable!
The very beast afternoon tea that I had so far! Simply stunning! I have recommended it to all my friends in London.
Took an American friend for Traditional English Tea - nice place beautiful setting - sandwiches were not greasy - tasted ok but bread not fresh. Scones were ok have tasted much better as tasted more like brioche - cakes were ok also nothing outstanding. Excellent service and lovely china.
Nice atmosphere, polite staff, good service, great location and settings.
Amazing 👌. Take someone you care about here. I took my friend for her birthday she loved it
Absolutely amazing as always. Superb service and care from all staff and most especially from the manager Mr. Sebastian.
The scones and tea were nice but not worth it for a total of 195 for 3 people. The venue is beautiful itself and unique.
Lovely place for afternoon tea, could not recommend it more. The service and staff were exceptional, really generous with the food and the building is beautiful.
Was dark and noisy and cold. Food was average and lacked finesse. Expected more.
I visited the Landmark hotel with my best friend for her birthday and had the afternoon tea. The decor in this hotel is absolutely stunning and makes you feel like you're somwhere exotic and not in London. The staff were attentive, as soon as we got to the restaurant we were shown to our table and given menus to decide on tea we wanted, our sandwiches were bought out and so were the pastries. Presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Sebastian was an amazing waiter and also took lovely photos of us. We felt welcome comfortable and had a fab time! I would most definitely recommend the Landmark!
pleasant and memorable afternoon tea, enjoyable interior
Initially sat at a table that had a draft, but then asked to move and was given a much better table. Have been here a few times before for tea (last time about 2 years ago). Love the ambiance, but this time the scones and tea / food were significantly better that last time. Will definitely be returning sooner than 2 years.
They even got us sooner than the actual booking hour, which was very good for us. They do really pay attention to your allergies and to be pleased with their service. A bit over priced to be honest for a afternoon tea party, but in rest totally recommend
a little expense but the food ans service is good. the winter garden is a great place for afternoon tea.
Service could not fault it 5 star..!!
Sandwiches were great but not very festive the cakes were not to our taste, and overall we did not think that the actual afternoon tea was not very festive.!!
Lovely staff, delicious food and a beautiful setting
Lovely ambiance (Palm trees, etc.) Last year we had a fabulous experience of afternoon tea, but this year not so good. Extremely expensive (compared with last year) Ithink we paid £45 each last year and this year it was £58. And we were told we had to have the Festive Tea, which included Champagne or Fruit Cocktails, which we didn't want or need before an Afternoon Tea. And at the end 12.5 service was added on!!
The sandwiches were served on individual plates for each guest, instead of on a tiered central plate for us to help ourselves - much more elegant. The same with the scones and with the patisseries. And both the latter were put on the table together, when there wasn't much room for all 6 plates (we were 3 people and we each had a plate of scones and a plate of patisseries). The gluten-free options were delicious, but instead of mini-sandwiches, I had half-rolls, which filled me up too much before I had even started on the scones or patisseries. All in all not such a good experience as last year at around this time. Probably because it was a Saturday, whereas last year it was a weekday and less crowded.
