This was our second time to Ancora. This time with 6 people and they did not disappoint. The Utica Greens are top notch and the Chicken Riggies - another specialty of Central NY was over the top - the portions were amazing and the quality was superb. Staff was friendly and professional and we had a great time.

All I can say is wow! The Food was fantastic! Never had Utica Greens like that before, so good! The chicken riggies were the best I've ever tasted and the NY Strip was phenomenal! SO GOOD! Would definitely go again!

We had a great time! Had calamari appetizer, the shrimp and penne, and whatever the haddock special was, all just perfect. Don’t go through Utica often (we live near Buffalo), but might detour for dinner here sometime!

This was our first time at Ancora! It was excellent and affordable. My wife’s steak was excellent and the Paella is what I will be ordering every time I go there. The wait staff are personable and know when to leave you to enjoy your meal also. We will definitely be going back!

The food was ok. I had the hot chicken riggies which were very good and my husband had the lamb special. We had greens for an appetizer and it was pretty bland.
We were looking for a fancy night out. The atmosphere was cute?... I would recommend it for younger couples on their first date.

Food was very good. Filet was awesome. Felt very crowded to today’s standards but they have a small space and they have tried hard to make it work. Overall it was a good experience.

Always a pleasure to dine. Casual date night includes bottle of red, charcuterie platter, stuffed mushrooms, filet, and pumpkin ravioli. Topped off with a 50 shades of crepe.

Celebrating my granddaughter’s First Holy Communion at Ancora was such a special time! Beautiful night to enjoy outdoor dining with family. Everything was excellent, as always.

Great Paella for two, several gluten free options for my wife, fantastic service. Quieter than last visit due to operating at reduced capacity due to COVID restrictions. Great dinner out. Blueberry Mojito needed a bit more lime and too sweet, reasonable prices on wine menu

We had another good experience at Ancora last evening. The service is fantastic and very good pricing for the food.

Food is always fantastic. Wait staff attentive and great selection of wines and cocktails. Gorgonzola potatoes, meatballs, arugula salad and gnocchi are our favorites.

Nice ambiance. Outstanding food and a fantastic server. Can’t wait to return.

The presentation of all food items was exceptional but the dessert (creme brûlée) was a piece of art!
