We always enjoy our experience at Antebellum.
Still my favorite restaurant!!!
The best food I have ever eaten. Just love coming here.
Never disappoints. This is by far the best restaurant in the area. So quaint. Food is delicious!
This is our 11th time to this restaurant and every visit has been wonderful. We tried the fried chicken which is not a normal menu item and we were blown away! I have never tasted fried chicken like that in my life. We have always had the steak, salmon or halibut but this was incredible. The staff are beyond nice and accommodating. The owners, Nick and Alison are personable and inviting. So happy to call this our "go to" fine dining restaurant!
I was an awesome evening with awesome food to celebrate 7years. Looking forward to many more with family and friends!!
As always, Antebellum was an incredible experience! We always enjoy celebrating with this amazing little gem!
Antebellum is one of our favorite restaurants. Tonight we came for the fried chicken and pimento cheese burgers. Everything was delicious!
We always enjoy Antebellum! They are always very hospitable, serve delicious food and provide excellent service.
Service was impeccable, and the food was superb, as expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
Food great. Service great. Much too noisy. Pricing high.
My wife and I expected a place to share a quality, intimate dining experience. Instead, we were bombarded with noise and could barely hear each other. Large, noisy group near us got in the way.
Just moved to the area, will definitely be back. Fried green tomatoes were outstanding.
Incredible meal and service!
Great service and fantastic meal
Great food, terrific service and a perfect anniversary spot.
One of the best experiences I had in a while. Great atmosphere. We had the pork belly appetizer, duck, and flat iron steak. Amazing flavors on everything, and everything cooked perfectly.
Great service!! The staff were very attentive and the food and cocktails great!
We truly enjoyed our dining experience. The soup was out of this world delicious and I actually ordered a second bowl. I would recommend making a reservation because it was full the evening we were there and it was a weeknight.
Fantastic dinner! Had an incredible experience! We had the grilled bread and fried green tomatoes for appetizers.
I had very high expectations; maybe too high. Two guests at my table ordered the salmon entree. I requested mine "a little more done than usually served". When the plates arrived my salmon portion was the tail end of a filet. Very tail end - maximum thickness was about a quarter inch down to nothing - and it was no larger in width or length than the acceptable salmon filet served to the guest seated next to me. I mentioned the problem to the server. I was told all portions are measured and weighed, so mine just "looked thin". The head server came later and asked if there was a problem. I did not want to return my plate while everyone else completed their meal; and then eat my entree alone. The filet should not have been served. The porch seating was very pleasant and the other guests in my party were very satisfied with their food and service.
Excellent dinner every time, never dissapoints!
Outstanding unique fresh food. Beautiful location and wonderful service.
We came here for our anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing. The drinks were the best cocktails in the area, and the service was great. The fried green tomatoes were great, I wish there was a little more hot sauce, but still, taste and all was great. The salmon & shrimp/grits were delicious. We shared the cheesecake, that was great. If anything, I would have had the cheesecake a little colder. I would, and we will, go back! Worth the money!
Antebellum is our favorite restaurant. The food and service is exceptional. Always a wonderful dining experience!
Our server Charis was wonderful. One person in our party had never been to Antebellum and Charis took the time to explain items on the menu. Wonderful evening!
Exceptional service. Christy is phenomenal. She made our evening quite memorable and extremely fun.
My husband and I chose Antebellum for our anniversary dinner, and it was outstanding.
Service with Caris was fantastic, and the food and drinks were delicious and interesting.
Truly one of our top favorites. Always a wonderful experience all the way around. Outstanding flavors and fresh to table. Chef Nick is truly one of the best ever. Salmon and halibut tonight were an amazing mix of freshness and flavors. Nice quiet southern atmosphere and hospitality. Service it great. Soups are a must, (sweet carrot with ginger is the best ever), all of the entree’s are fabulous and if you like chocolate, don’t miss the chocolate bread pudding.
As always, Antebellum shines above all others North of Atlanta. Every dish on the menu is unbelievable, fresh, and delicious.
We usually expect nothing but the best from Antebellum but for some reason this time the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were salty. It appeared that it was nothing to do with the chef but that they were using a new kind of shrimp? They did not charge us for the meal. First time we ever had an issue.
Hands down the best meal in Atlanta. The balance of flavor, acidity and presentation truly show the chefs skill.
The service is outstanding, Christi has waited on us both visits and makes you feel welcome and is there when you need her.
Outstanding as usual
Only downside is when it is busy it is really difficult to talk and hear people.
Great food, service and atmosphere
Very accommodating as our party grew from 5 to 10 at the last minute
Halibut, salmon and shrimp and grits were delicious can not go wrong with any selection
This was our fourth or fifth times in antebellum and I have to tell you every single time including this one was exceptional, I love this place
All the food was so fresh and delicious. I've already told a few co-workers about our amazing dinner experience.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing food and atmospheres. Absolutely the best service too!
We went as a nice dinner out after camping for the weekend. Decided after playing in rain and bug spray, dressing up would be a treat we deserved! This place hit the spot. The night we went they had Sweet Corn Soup as well, which I ordered. It was very tasty but the Fried Green Tomatoes stole the appetizer show! Hands down, best Fried Green Tomatoes. Server even gave instructions to break egg first so Tomatoes can absorb it. GET THIS.
For dinner we ordered the Salmon and Filet Mignon. The night we were there the Flat Iron could be substituted with Fliet. The filet was beautifully cooked. We asked for medium rare and received more medium but at the end of the day, not a big deal. Still melted in the mouth and flavorful. The Salmon was cooked perfectly but the crispy cheddar grit cake stole the plate. We didn’t expect such a crispy, yet mashed, like texture. Just phenomenal! The salmon won the entree of the evening. For dessert we had only one which we shared, Mike’s favorite Chocolate Bread Pudding. I hate bread pudding. Something about the consistency just doesn’t appeal to me. Add chocolate and I’m even less interested. I ate half! It just melted in your mouth but be aware, it is rich.
I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it’s a beautiful southern plantation home that’s been converted. The inside was comparatively bland to the outside but let’s be honest. No one comes for the table and chairs!!! Go for the food. Go for the service ( Brianna? Was incredibly knowledgeable and cheerful). Bring your wallet, after all, meals aren’t being handed out here. I was surprised a little by the final bill but I’d still go again without hesitation. Highly recommend especially if a special occasion and highly recommend reservations. This place is not a secret!
We've been several times and it never disappoints. The quality of the food, the presentation, the service -- all great.
My friend recommended Antebellum’s a few years ago. I took my wife on our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner. This past Thursday I took my wife back for her 57th birthday and again another wonderful dinner. The staff and the chef is outstanding. They are tightly connected into OpenTable which make it easy to select your reservation time and add comments like, celebrating a birthday and would like a quite table. And BAM! That’s it... We love Antebellum’s, no need to drive 40+ miles one way into the ATL for fine dining!
