Atlanta Fish Market
Don't forget to check out Pano's Market offering fresh seafood for you to cook at home! Open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Loved the efficient service. Food was extremely hot and served with a smile. The prices are high, but the quality of the good stands out, so the prices fit the service and food.
Food was ok, they were out of hush puppies, baked and sweet potatoes. They need to remodel, chairs and booth seats are old and need to be replaced.
Even though we had a reservation , the place was packed and we still had to wait over half an hour. We were seated at the bar. It was so noisy that we couldn't hear our server and at times couldn't talk to one another
My husband and I have visted many times, always having an excellent experience. We went on Father's Day and had a terrible experience. We never got bread until we tracked someone down, they brought the appetizer with the meal and it was a very small portion at that. My son's potatoes had a skin on top after sitting before being brought to the table. They were sent back. I had to remind the waitress to bring a new portion back. Someone took my sushi roll so I had to wait a while for my meal. It just seemed that our waitress was out of sorts or something. The meal was $135 (with tax). Now, I did speak to the manager and explained our experience and he adjusted the bill to $96, $104 with tax. We will go back as we enjoy the food, but this was just not a good experience.
Over the years, Atlanta Fish Market has been a go-to-choice for celebrations for our family. However, this Father's Day, the experience was sub-par, especially for a Buckhead Life restaurant. Our 6p reservation wasn't seated until 6:35p. The bread was served late and cold. They forgot the side dishes with our order. And the sushi wasn't fresh. We were very disappointed in the experience.
Shrimp Alfredo was watery .
Sea bass slightly over cooked and too much sherry soy sauce in dish
Early Father’s Day celebration. Waiter wasn’t the best. Food was outstanding as usual. Will be back soon!
loved this place!!! i will definitely be coming back
Great service and food. My husband and I had an excellent date.
First time visiting and the food and service was Exceptional! My family and I will DEFINITELY be back to visit!
Great experience. A little too pricey. But good food and service overall!!
We were seated at the bar before dinner. The bar tender was excellent. After being seated, we received great attention from our server, who had geeat recommendations on the food. Ny trip from Birmingham was not wasted. Excellent...
The front end where we were greeted and assisted in getting a table was spectacular.
This seems to be the norm as we are always greeted warmly and the people responsible for seating us were excellent.
Service was very quick. Enjoyed the food. Whole experience was a good.
Great Food & service!!! 😁
Food was exceptional as usual. Our server was slow and inattentive. Admittedly the restaurant was busy but other servers were far more attentive to their customers.
Fathers Day pre luncheon
Service took too long, first two beers were flat, never offered bread, poor timing on appetizers and entree so our main course sat out for 30 minutes
Waiter was not on top of things and you ran out of lobster rolls
Ugh it is a cattle call restaurant, tired decor, mediocre service, crowded and loud.
Food was cooked perfectly! Could of had more flavor.
Honored seating request. Good beer, good food, good service
Anthony is the greatest! Has my ice tea on the table before I get there. Wonderful service.
Our server was very nonchalant, monotone, not very personable for a group of 6. Steak ordered was only medium rare in very middle, more medium well all around outer edge and this was acceptable to the cook staff after returning...? Creme Brulee' was runny when held up so it had not set properly and all tasted like banana, not sure if they reused a dish or just somehow flavor was added? This is my favorite dessert and has never tasted like banana as I do not like banana and 6 people agreed that is what it tasted like. For $500 I was quite disappointed in this dining experience. This is the 6th or 7th time I have come into Buckhead to eat here and not sure that I will be back.
The atmosphere and food were incredible. But the service was lackluster. Constantly running out of drink and never checking on our table.
Our meal was perfect. Because we were early, about 4:30 pm, we were seated in the cozy lounge area. Our server was great, attentive but not intrusive. I especially liked his asking if I wouldn’t like to take a few last bites before removing my plate, since I am regularly irked by servers offering to remove my plate while I am still eating. I had my utensils on my plate in the backward position, indicating I was finished. Servers don’t ever seem to know to look for that (old timey?) symbol of being done with the meal. The food and drink were outstanding. Martinis were great. Calamari was lovely, lightly fried and delicious. My husband and I both got the sea bass and loved it. We live in Marietta, so don’t regularly eat out in Atlanta. Atlanta Fish Market is worth the drive.
Wedding anniversary, food was great, civeche excellent, good service. Super overall evening!
I will not recommend the Atlanta Fish Market to anyone for reasons that the parking lot attendants or someone from parking removed my valve stem covers which are metal with the Jaguar symbol. To not draw my attention to the items, they were replaced with everyday plastic covers. This is an expense of 40- 50 dollars on top of my meal.
Service was excellent. Food arrive in a timely fashion and was served hot. Everything tasted wonderful.
I've been to AFM several times and it's always an average 4 out of 5 star experience.
The food and service are always great but the place is in major need of some cleanup/renovations.
Ceiling looks old, booth seats are falling apart, carpet and floor always feels sticky or greasy.
That being said; the I had their Bread Pudding for dessert for the first time the other night and it was a huge portion and the best I've ever had. So....regardless of what the inside of the place looks like, I will keep coming back for the bread pudding again and again.
The air was blasting when we got there, but the staff was pleasantly responsive to warming it up a bit. The food was OUTSTANDING!! The service staff was slightly overwhelmed, but good.
All in all, we had a great time, but the seating needs to be redone. The springs are shot on the banquette seating, and the entire dining area is a bit dated.
Too noisy, server was not very attentive, food was excellent however.
The plates were very hot which gave the illusion that but the food wasn’t that hot.
Disappointed- restaurant and staff has gone in the wrong direction from where it was years ago
Outstanding! We love the Fish Market.
Seven of us dined and all seven seafood dishes were excellent. Highly recommend the brown butter preparation for the fish ( did not catch the French name for it ). It is not on the menu so ask about it. Our server mentioned it to us. Sea Bass, Black Grouper, Sole, Cod, and Lobster were excellent. Oysters were also very good, but variety is limited.
Wait staff very attentive, but we end up with two at our table ( one was trainee, but also helped ).
This is one of the better restaurants in the group. Much cleaner, updated decor and a good bar program. The food was great as always. The drinks were great too. The bartender shows that she has been their a long time. We never received the silverware set up and it took about 10 minutes to get it after our food was their because she continued to talk to her regular customers. However, it was still a good dinner.
This restaurant has consistently upheld great standards in what it offers to its patrons.
We've been to AFM dozens of times. We go for the fresh fish. Never disappointed in the fish. Great prices for their fish meals. Lately, the Oyster Rockefeller has been dry with mostly breadcrumb flavor - used to be really good. The Wedge salad bleu cheese dressing is really sweet tasting...like the base is made with Miracle Whip. I prefer more sour cream/mayonnaise base with strong bleu cheese flavor. After dinner drink - Keoke Coffee is spot on and a bargain at $7.50. The dining area could really use a make-over. Seats and booth's coverings are damaged from years of sweaty butts. Tables could use a refinishing. Carpet is old and dingy. Lower level wooden flooring is worn out in the pathways. Some reinvestment in the look of the place is really needed.
