We had a Father's Day dinner with 4 of us and it was one of the best dinners we have all had in a very long time. My husband and I ordered the King Crab feast for 2 which was outstanding. My daughter loved the lobster risotto and her boyfriend had the fish of the day with Mexican street corn - all was amazing. Our waiter was great and so was the bartender where we had a cocktail while waiting. I can't wait to go back.
I cannot recommend this place enough. This was my second time at Atlantic fish and they were just as good (maybe even better?) than my first experience. The food is absolutely incredibly and worth every penny. My favorite seafood spot in boston!
We went for Father’s Day. Everything was perfect from the food to the service to the ambiance. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Fish.
we have been coming to your restaurant for a long time. The quality of the restaurant is declining. The food was awful, full of butter .
what a disappointment it was. Paid a lot of money for Father's Day and didn't enjoy the food.
you lost one customer.
We love going there for lunch or brunch. The quality of the dishes is consistent and the service is great.
You know what you are paying for. It’s worth it!
I've been going to Atlantic Fish for 50 years -- since the late 1960's, before the fire and remodel/rebuild, when they had the big blackboards with the chalk menu of all the fresh fish and seafood. Every time, I would consider all the options, but I always ordered the fried sea scallops - big, juicy, tender, absolutely perfectly cooked every time. This was my go-to place for scallops in Boston, and we ALWAYS brought our out-of-town visitors there for the seafood and chowder and lobsters -- and they were always impressed.
Last Saturday, however, the fried sea scallops were nowhere to be seen on the menu. But our server assured us we could get an order. When my "dinner" arrived, there were about 9 small pieces of scallops - maybe cut from 3 bigger scallops, and they were a bit overcooked. Our friends from Texas had also ordered a side of these scallops and theirs were the same. I was so embarrassed and disappointed. My husband's tuna was good; our Texas friends' lobster was good; but how could you let me down on the scallops, Atlantic Fish?
Great food great atmosphere! Great even with kids!
I love Atlantic Fish. It is by far the best seafood restaurant in Boston and is fairly priced and excellent quality. I make sure I visit here at last twice during every trip to Boston.
No gift cake
We ordered the Seafood fra diavolo. When the dish came,it smells not good and obviously the seafood was not fresh. Fortunately the restaurant hasn't charge us the fish. It is really a pity!
Wonderful experience, great food, professional wait staff
My boyfriend and I came here at 5 PM on a Tuesday evening to celebrate his birthday. The dining room was about a quarter full, and the patio outside was full (the weather was beautiful!). The dining room filled as the evening progressed, but the noise level was always comfortable and never bothersome. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and we enjoyed the fresh bread and cocktails at the start of the meal (the Juniper-based one and the Mule). The calamari (fried, of course) was a larger portion than expected - we devoured it and ended up packing 1/2-3/4 of our entrees (SF Cioppino and Seared Tuna) to go. The Cioppino was full of huge variety of fresh seafood, and the Tuna was prepared perfectly. Although we were incredibly full, we also packed the chocolate dessert - it was delicious - to go. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious so we definitely plan to return in the future!
I had three meals (2 lunches and 1 dinner) over 2 days this week.
The meals were final ... though not a good as one would expect for the price.
Especially disappointing ... lobster nicoise. Salad greens were good ... lobster flavorless, very tough ... as if taken out of a can of processed lobster. Unfortunate ...
We had reservations for 8:45 pm. We were not sat until 9:20pm. Lots of excuses. Our server was great and the food was great.
I went to the Atlantic Fish with colleagues for an informal business diner. The reservation process was fluid and we were seated exactly at the expected time. Despite the fact that the place was overcrowded, we were served swiftly and could enjoy a nice dinner. We all chose the lobster al' arrabiata. The lobster was a little chewy and hot, but good. The wine selection is substantial and the prices are correct given the quality.
We had a great meal, service from Nick Q was very good, scallop starters excellent, SF fish stew chock full of fish and shellfish, my wife's haddock topped with crab cake was okay but not as impressive, would go here again
Amazing meal. The lobster risotto was great. It had chunks of claw and asparagus and corn, plus a small split tail on top. My husband loved his fries clam app and lobster roll. The drinks were great, too. Highly recommended!
Everything was amazing. Appetizers, entree and dessert and of course cocktails! Highly recommend. Get a reservation for sure. This place is packed and rightfully so!
The whole family loved their food and experience at the Atlantic! We will definitely return when in Boston again.
Great food. We had the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer followed by the stuffed lobster and lobster risotto for main course. The peppermint appetizer is awesome!
Had exceptional fish/seafood and great service. A bit noisy, but really good.
Great place with delicious food! We had a very good time.
In town for my first Red Sox game and also wanted to have a great seafood dinner. Atlantic Fish Co. was recommended and I must say the total experience was awesome. The food was top notch, the waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and the ambiance was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to having fresh, tasty seafood at an upscale establishment. Bravo
My husband and I dined here based on great reviews. We were very pleased to be seated in a booth as we requested. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food came quickly. I ordered the vegan tomato soup which was delicious. My husband ordered Oysters Rockefeller which he said were average at best. My Caesar salad had very little flavor. I ordered shrimp scampi, but asked if I could get scallops instead of shrimp and asked for extra lemon on the side. When the dish came, our waitress said they added the lemon for me instead of putting it on the side. It was overpoweringly lemony instead of allowing me to add it to taste and the scallops were small and way over cooked. My husband ordered the bacon wrapped scallops which were also over cooked and rubbery.
It was a very disappointing meal, although the restaurant atmosphere were very nice. We will not return here in the future as it is way overrated.
Deliciousness....great wine, crab crusted haddock, aromatic bread and the best butter!
My wife and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and decided to go a little upscale from the usual Legal Seafoods. We thoroughly enjoyed the crab-encrusted haddock and grilled swordfish. The service was friendly (thanks Glenn E) and effective. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful fine dining place. Fresh seafood. Clam chowder is out of the world. Lobster roll is a definite must.
Not our first visit and excellent as always. Not fancy, freshly prepared to maximize the flavor of the Main ingredient. The best coleslaw in Boston. Every trip to Fenway includes a stop at Atlantic fish. Thank you to the wait staff for the outstanding care.
Another great experience at Atlantic Fish. They never disappoint.
Joe and his team are great!
Great service and wonderful ambience!
Fabulous place. Great food, friendly staff and great location. Glen (our server) was super!
Server was very slow to bring drink refills and check in the end.
Absolutely terrific service. Equally fine fare and beverages. This spot always delivers!
Excellent food and service!
Very noisy and crowded. One meal had to be returned—not cooked through. Bowl for shells came ten minutes after meal. Requested a birthday dessert—-never happened. We used to really like the restaurant. Brought an out of town guest. Very disappointed.
Great place, really good food, Swift service well worth a visit. Value for money.
Good food...great service...nice evening...would return
We were in Boston for 3 days and this was the best restaurant of all that we went to. Wonderful, gourmet food, fit for "foodies" and the drinks were large, made properly and made perfectly. The waiter was terrific, professional, pleasant and attentive. We cannot wait to go to this restaurant during every visit to Boston! Thank you!!
Service was great, and the servings were large. The clam chowder bread bowl and lobster roll are a must have if you’re visiting Boston.
I had a guest with celiac disease who enjoyed her dining experience immensely, because she was not at all stigmatized for her gluten concerns. Our server was top-notch and the food was worth the spluge.
