Food was unimpressive and service was very slow. Won’t be back

Delicious food

Dining was ok. Server wasn’t as attentive as I prefer but was ok. Food was ok.

We came in, got a table right away, quick service.

Only complaint that I have is the I RSVP for outdoor dining and it wasn’t honored upon arrival. The manager stated that it wasn’t an option for RSVP bit on open table it is an option.

Steak was not cooked correctly - no consideration made by waiter or management. other food was good.

Our waitress Erin was very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks she was very accommodating to our requests, excellent service all around

The appetizer was barely warm when it arrived at the table. The bread served with it was extremely burnt with portions being inedible.

The waitress slammed the glasses down on the table when she served the refills. Also she brought my daughter the raspberry lemon breeze drink in the silver shaker and never brought a glass for her to use.

Lastly, our entrees were not prepared as requested.

Food came fast and the waitress was great!

The Paella was delicious. It was my birthday dinner. Great service and value.

Service and good were good. Social distancing enforced.

Food was not as good as other visits. Beef empanadas were great, but my ropa vieja was cold in some areas and the Baja tacos were dry. Drinks were good. Waitress never served water until we asked halfway through the meal and didn’t bring any appetizer plates to share, straws for water, or extra napkins until asked. She was very pleasant, but it wasn’t busy and really no reason not to have these things.

I've been to the Newark restaurant many times, it never disappoints. Food aleays good and friendly staff.

Went for a light dinner but my children were not pleased with their sliders. They didn’t even want to eat their leftovers. It would probably be better for an adult date night without the kids.

We love that B.B. takes reservations.. the restaurant is clean & we feel safe dining there.. Our waitress was attentive & very engaging! We love the cocktails the exciting food options ! My only complaint... I understand that it is Covid time but we had a birthday with 3 different tables reserved. I called multi times hoping that our tables could be placed in close proximity.. I was told that was not possible, although in December when we celebrated another Bday, we were lucky enough that a caring host did seat our tables within talking distance. I found this disappointing although the waitress was very understanding as we were going back & forth.. we were also able to sing Happy BDay !! All in a fun delicious time!

Well I’ve always loved going to Bahamas Breeze because of their delicious food, drinks and the nice ambiance and this was the same toddy. We came in our waitress was attentive and helpful. Our drinks and food came fast. Our food was very delicious and the drinks were on point! They had Covid protocols they had in place with the social distancing which was great! I always book again. Thank you for a great experience!

Everyone was spaced out, quick food, good service

Whenever I travel to Newark my first stop is lunch is Bahama Breeze. Love the coconut shrimp & salad combo.😋

Great experience for all ages at my table. We celebrated my grandfather’s 78th bday... with my grandmother husband and three children ages 11months to 12yrs . Fantastic! Thanks to our server Abrielle 12-23-20

Great service and enjoyed the meal very much

We came for my sisters birthday and it was a nice experience. Our waitress was so bomb she tended to us drinks were nice it was very satisfying. I would not suggest anyone coming here if they are looking for a good steak but besides that the food and drinks were on point.

First time ever returning food at an Bahama Breeze my currassco steak was over cooked and the chimichurri sauce looked like dried herbs on a steak. The rice was very strong with lime and a bit dried out. The black beans were good. The empanadas was greasy and the filling fell out everywhere. The hot chocolate drink my bartender made was pretty good.

Food was great, good size portions and great server.
My one disappointment is that they have stopped serving oxtail... what's a Caribbean restaurant without it...
BRING BACK THE OXTAIL!

They again must have new kitchen staff. The black bean soup was tepid we sent it back to be heated. My husband ordered his burger medium and it was way well done and my Cuban was warm only on the outside. The waitress informed the kitchen we told her that we just wanted to let them know. You would have thought at that point the kitchen manager might have come out to apologize but never did. We didn’t ask or want anything off our meal just wanted someone to be aware. We eat there a couple times a month and usually everything is good but the past few times have been lacking. May wait until everything is back to normal before we try again.

The reason I have three stars is because we are in the middle of a Pandemic. I made the reservation for us to have lunch outside. The hostess refused to seat us in the one area. She said it was closed for the season. One of the women in my party is deaf and needs to read lips. It was 60:degrees outside. We had to eat inside a plastic tent that had no open areas for the air to freely flow. We were required to wear masks unless we were eating Our server was extremely helpful. She went to the manager to see if he would make an exception to seat us outside and he refused. We even tried to order carry out and sit outside. We ended up sitting in the tent and it was difficult for us to communicate.

Our waiter was exceptional. I cannot remember his name but I hope we get so lucky again next visit :)

We enjoyed are lunch. The waitress was very attentive! The Salmon was a bit overdone but still enjoyed it.
