First time we eat at Belvedere. It was my dad's 90th birthday. We were so impressed with the service, the food - everything. Keep up the good work!! Will be back for sure!
Belvi bread is amazing! Risotto was done just right and crab cakes were loaded with crab meat and little filler. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved it! I never write reviews but this place was so great, I feel compelled to praise them. First i will say they are very accommodating. I needed to push back my reservation twice and they graciously said not to worry every time I called. And the food was Amazing! The Kobe sliders were unbelievable and the Caesar salad is a must. The short ribs were very good - but needed a little salt. Would definitely dine here again.
I am frequently at the Belv.. Love the bar and crowd but sadly our dinner was sub-par this time. The short rib pot pie was tasteless and the seafood dish I had was pretty boring as well, just basically being in butter and not a lot of herbs etc in it for flavor. I'll still go frequently but sadly the family members I brought won't return anytime soon. The $28+ entree prices didn't align with elsewhere in Lancaster where the good is much more interesting and flavorful. Maybe the chef was having an off night? Our waitress was great though.
Anniversary. Card in recognition. Free dessert and champagne. Very appreciative. Waiter was fabulous.
Awesome service from the time we walked in. Great updated menu! Can't wait to go back!
Great food, fantastic facility, service was extremely slow. All of our meals were excellent, and we will return, but will be more aggressive about getting attention for our table. We were there at least 50 minutes longer than we should have been.
Great food - she had the short ribs and I had the veal chop, with nice sides of macaroni and cheese and hericot verts, or fingerling potatoes and roasted asparagus. We dined al fresco on the rooftop patio over the dining room, and the weather was perfect. A romantic meal, away from the bustling bar. I would definitely return.
Caesar salad,4 hour braised short ribs, mac and cheese I highly recommend!
Drinks and bar staff exceptional!!!
What a lovely experience. We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful meal - our server, Lindsey, could not have been better. She knew the menu, made great recommendations, and did not rush us at all. The timing of the food was perfect and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. The space is beautiful, the temperature of the room was very comfortable, lots of couples and families enjoying themselves, everyone taking their time just being together without anyone being intrusive. A real nice grown-up place to go without any stuffiness.
Had an amazing experience. Loved the food, the music, and the staff.
Food was excellent. Service was good. A little slow on bringing our drinks before dinner. We were there for an early dinner with the restaurant not full.
This is a great place for a leisurely dinner with amazing food. I had the lamb tenderloins. So tasty and tender. Others had the different beef dishes which were also cooked to perfection. The ice cream we had for dessert was yummy. Nice selection of flavors.
Quiet, calm candlelit setting with excellent food! I recommend any seafood and of course the grilled Caesar salad.
My husband, daughter and I dined at the Belvedere Inn Restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Were seated on the second floor near the bar. Lots of mirrors and art in a rather dark but attractive room. During our meal a jazz band with a singer performed.
The food was delicious. My daughter and I had the grilled romaine Cesar Salad. I had never had a Cesar Salad served this way and it was the best Cesar Salad I have had in years. My husband enjoyed his green salad with balsamic vinaigrette. For our entrees I had the Halibut which was pan seared and served on mashed potatoes with some sort of sauce. Again, it was a winner. My daughter had the crab cake with fingerling potatoes which she gobbled up. I tasted the crab cake and it was sublime. My husband had the risotto with peas and asparagus. It was plentiful so much so that I had to finish it so as not to waste any. :). It was the creamiest risotto I ever tasted.
We ended the meal with dessert. I had the pineapple upside down cake. Again, scrumptious. My husband and daughter had ice cream from a a company from Maine. I also had to finish my daughter's serving because it was too much for her. Her loss, my gain. My husband also had ice cream but he ate his entire dessert. BTW, the waiter comped my husband's dessert when he found out it was his birthday. Really nice.
It was a little pricey but for the portions, ambiance, and service it was an excellent value.
Food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Josh, our server, was wonderful and added to our dining experience. Cocktails were exceptional. All of the food was amazing, but preferred the previous recipe for braised short ribs over the newer, sweeter version. Had I known the recipe changed, I would likely have ordered something else.
The food is always incredible, thank you!
Our server is the best!
Always a perfect evening with a staff that is both attentive and professional !
The Belvedere is a charming inn. We met my cousin and her husband there to celebrate their birthdays and the inn had a note card on the table for them - a thoughtful touch! Everything we ordered from cocktails through dessert was delicious. I have to note that the lobster tail was cooked to perfection! Our server was also attentive and personable. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
What a great dining experience. The waiter was attentive and friendly and the food was well executed. It came recommended and I would recommend it when visiting the Lancaster area.
The food and service were wonderful. The only complaint we had was that our waitress was a soft talker and with the noise level it was extremely difficult to hear her and when we told her we couldn't hear her she made a joke about our hearing. Other than that it was wonderful.
Scallops were so good and the salmon Cesar salad always to the best. Delicious lobster bisque. Had a couple pints of the IPA. Finished dinner off with a glass of champs and creme brulee. We sat outside and the weather was just perfect. Lindsay was our server, she was wonderful! We dined before Mama Mia, they had us in and out in plenty of time to walk to the Fulton on a beautiful evening.
Service was nicely paced and the food was top quality. Our server was personable and saw to it that the meal and wine flowed pleasantly. The mixed seafood and pasta was great. We look forward to sharing the Belvedere with friends some time soon for a dinner.
Belvedere never disappoints us. The service is excellent, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is pleasant . One of our favorite Lancaster Restaurant
We have been visiting the Belvedere on special occasions for several years. You never let us down. Our reserved table was ready for us, the service was great and the food was awesome! We will continue to celebrate our times with you and the staff. Thank you! Pete and Lynn Vastyan
Everything was perfect!
Everything was incredible. The Belvedere is one of the best restaurants in Lancaster.
One of the best meals my wife and I ever had. Food was incredible, lindsay our server was fantastic. After dinner drinks at the bar were also wonderful. Will be back every time I am in Lancaster
The second story porch has beautiful and bountiful floral plantings - a perfect setting for a perfect evening. Figgy blossom martini - fig flavored vodka, the best specialty cocktail I've ever had! Dinner was wild mushroom and artichoke risotto with shrimp, perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. My partner's meal was jumbo lump crabcake, all lump, no filler and also absolutely delicious. Dessert, creme brulee - base velvety and creamy and the sugar topping perfectly browned and crunchy. Our waitress Kim was very friendly and helpful.
One of our favorite places in Lancaster, I only regret that we don't live closer so we could dine there more often.
Thanks for a memorable dining experience!
Always great food and great service! The best in Lancaster
Very loud. Food was nothing special
Excellent restaurant, exceeded expectations, great gluten-free menu.
You bet I would! We celebrated our wedding anniversary there with friends. They had a lovely card on our table congratulating us and served us a complimentary champagne toast which was so nice! The food was exceptional! Every dish was prepared well and to our liking and proportions were generous.
Our servers were attentive and very welcoming. We can't wait to go back! Thank you Belvedere for making our anniversary so special!
Fantastic food, fantastic service. It was the ideal location to celebrate our anniversary!!
Excellent service by all -- friendly, personable, professional, respectful!
Delicious crabcake and avocado appetizer and others enjoyed their meals as well.
My only complaint is kale had too much garlic. Otherwise everything great!
Lindsay was or server and she was excellent. Very prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our food was very good. We loved the grilled Caesar salads, and my husband loved his potatoe soup. He had the 4 hour short rib entree which was delicious. I had surf and terf - filet mignon and lobster tail. The filet was delicious but not the absolute best I've ever had. I ordered medium rare and it was a bit overcooked. My lobster tail however was by far the best I've ever had. I gave my husband a hue and regretted it. My side dish (potatoes and gratin) was also very good. Or cocktails we're also very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful as always
Decorated as advertised on the web site. Very dark and classy with linens on the table and attentive service from the wait staff. Short ribs my wife ordered were prepared with a 4 hour bake time the melt in the mouth result was fantastic. My special aged strip steak was prepared as asked, medium rare and our sides were great. Seating was tight and the place was a bit loud to hear each other during dinner. I booked this place to really take in the jazz bar upstairs. The décor followed up there and music was a very good trio of a bass, guitar and saxophone. We stayed to the end of one set into the beginning of the next. The only down side was being "disconnected" twice when calling before our arrival asking for assistance with directions to a parking garage. I thought about not showing up at all but pressed on after trips around the blocks to find the garage tucked a block up the street from the Belvedere on the left. Glad I did find parking it was worth it to have an enjoyable evening at the Belvedere.
My bride to be daughter, her matron of honor, and myself thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, atmosphere, and server! He was very personable and helpful with our entree and wine selection.
