They have really stepped up their lunch game. I have tried several of their salads and enjoyed all of them. I had been there pre-covid and felt the food was “meh” but I am really excited by their salads now. At some point I will try dinner again (when the weather gets warmer). They seem to do a good job social distancing inside (but I’m not eating inside yet) and they have heaters for the outside which I wish were slightly lower to the table.

Friendly attentive service and consistently great food

Food took a long time to arrive, however, when we did get it -- it was warm and very tasty. Worth the wait. Additionally, the waiter provided free drinks to make up for it and we didn't have to ask which shows that they were really paying attention.

Very nice local place with good outdoor heating and comfy menu. Loved the veggie burger!

Portion sizes are great. Had the valentine special, lobster bisque, steak, and chocolate cake with house blend of red. All were very good. Would recommend.

First night of indoor dining.

Bosc Pear salad with grilled chicken was excellent. Also the Avocado & Poached Eggs and the Grilled Chicken sandwich.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. I had the skirt steak sandwich and my friend had the chef’s omelette. They were both fantastic dishes full of flavor. We def come back here!

Food & service were excellent! Outdoor heaters not very strong leaving us exposed to the days chilly elements more than one would like.

The food was expensive, and the meal was small. Space heaters should be warmer. Otherwise enjoyable.

Glad we made reservations. There were 2 or 3 tables free but the reserved table was off Lexington in a quieter, less windy spot. Outdoor area was lively without being noisy. We had brunch. Food was very good. Staff were nice.

First of all, I don’t write reviews. I have walked passed this restaurant millions of times, not thinking anything of it. A very discerning friend of mine recommended Bocado. I could not believe it! She told me that the meal was delicious and that her husband even enjoyed the meal.
I had lunch with my friend and it was the perfect lunch spot. Last night I had dinner there. In the middle of the pouring rain and pandemic, the staff was great and accommodating. The food was scrumptious.
Bocado is a gem and needs our support. Again, I do not write reviews. Bocado deserves one. I hope to be dining there again soon.

Outdoor seating only, so overhead heat lamps were used, but we wish the lamps were a little more powerful, as it was a cold day. Great location, delicious food with a lot of variety, and nice sized portions! Definitely recommend!

Staff, outdoor seating, and food were all excellent!! Will definitely be back! The Belgium waffles and fresh orange juice are a must: 10/10

Bocado was the perfect spot for outdoor lunch after a visit to the Met Museum. We arrived early and the staff quickly put together the table for 3 that we reserved. We had delicious burgers, wine, coffee and tea. Good food, served promptly, and reasonably priced, under heat lamps. (It was December 31 after all).

I want Bocado to stay in business because I love the restaurant and food and have celebrated many occasions there. I know times are hard, so hopefully this review will help them to get better.

I had to prep for a big meeting while I had someone doing work in my apt. I figured I’ll make a reservation for lunch and sit under the heaters in the winter. I wore my biggest coat with a hat and gloves.

When I arrived, I had to wait a while. No big deal, things happen. When I finally sit down, it’s FREEEZING. And the heaters are BS. I wanted to get up and walk somewhere else, but I had already waited like 15-20 min. I thought that once I have hot tea and food, I’ll warm up.

NOPE. I was freezing. The heaters didn’t work. The food I ordered came out disgusting. It tasted like it was just heated up (which it might always be, but it never tasted like that). My lunch with two cups of tea and a good tip came out to $40. ABSO-F-ING RIDICULOUS.

When I got up to go home, I was frozen. I ended up working under the blankets in my bed with the heater on full blast.

I hope my tip went to the waitstaff who are working hard through all of this. It can’t be easy. I feel bad. But if you’re going to say you have outdoor seating with heat lamps, do better. The experience was awful. Oh, and why didn’t I get a bread plate when the tables next to me did?

Anyway...we sadly will not go here for outdoor dining or delivery until you get things in a better place. It’s not worth the cost. Good luck.

We always enjoy Bocado - it is one of our favorites.

Today started no more indoor dining due to covid but it was nice. They had a cover outside so we didn’t get hit with rain and the food was excellent!

The place was very nice, classy and elegant. Maybe play some music but it doesn't have to be loud. Also many add margaritas to the menu instead of beer, wine and sangria. The sangria was very water down and not good.

Great server, delicious food and even though our original wine choice was not in stock, the substituted wine was very nice. The only thing that slightly detracted from our evening was the fact that there was a woman next to us who was on her cell phone the entire time for at least an hour. Even when she finished her dinner she stayed an extra 30 minutes to talk on the phone. It’s very hard not to hear a one-sided conversation. But that’s not really the restaurants fault I guess. They cannot afford to ask diners to behave nicely… They are depending on the good will of the few diners willing to go out these days.

I’ve been here a few times. The outside tables in the structures have heat. The food has always been wonderful. I love the mushroom flatbread.

If you sit outdoor, dress up warmer. Even with the heaters, it is still winter outside. Nice place for meeting friends and sharing a meal.

The food was excellent and the service overall was very good. We were seated outside for Sunday brunch and the tables were spaced far enough apart, though it wasn't full. The prices were typical for the city. Overall I recommend and would eat here again, for sure.

I only had an appetizer so I can’t say overall if the meal was good or not. I would go back there again, however.

Decent food and nice menu. A little high in price but restaurants are having such difficulties right now — we all need to help if we want them around and tip well!
