   Inattentive service. Watery cocktail. Decent steak. Great Caesar salad. Adequate dessert but it took 20 min to come out and the place was dead. This feels like it was once the place to be but they’re holding onto a stuffy vibe from a bygone era. There are much better food options in STL at this price point.

   Bristol is always a pleasure. They greet you pleasantly; seat you promptly; the noise level is tolerable, especially for a busy restaurant. The service could not have been any better; just enough attention, without being overbearing. And of course the food, we both had fish, was quite good.

   My first experience at Bristol’s, it was good. It was my birthday and my mom and i looked for something close to house and Monday options are always slimmer. My mom had been to Bristol’s, but she said it was 30+ years ago and she said it looked exactly the same. Our meals were good, my Caesar and her Lobster Bisque were the highlights. We each had the crème brûlée seen in picture.

   The food was perfect I had the Swordfish & my guest had the Pablo breaded Shrimp, they both were great in portion and taste. The Lobster Bisque was extremely tasty!! Definitely will be back

    Awesome seafood, but ask to be seated away from walkway close to the host stand. It is noisy and not good for privacy.

    Disappointed that we were seated in the banquet room rather than the main dining room.

    Busy evening. Waited about 20 minutes even with a reservation, but the table was perfect and exactly where I asked to be seated. The staff was very friendly, but appeared to be stretched thin. It was a Friday evening during Lent, so the restaurant was full for dinner. The food is always good when we visit, but the scallops were not as hot as usual and it seemed like they sat around too long before arriving at the table. Probably because they were so busy and short staffed. The service was good, but slow. Again - probably because they were so busy. This visit wasn’t quite as great as previous visits, but we’ll return and I would still recommend Bristol’s. I also recommend a reservation, especially for weekends and holidays.

    Love Bristol’s but waiter charged for a drink we didn’t have, portions are way smaller and we asked for another biscuit. They’d be out hot in 3 minutes. Nope. Never came back or asked if my date wanted another beer. Food. Tastes great. But his plate was very white. No food. Roasted potato wedges-maybe 5 tiny ones and a couple tablespoons of green beans. Salmon was about 1 1/2 inches wide. This looked like a kids plate. Oh we’ll be back. Just a bad night I guess.

    We were well taken care of from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. The food was fantastic, from the oysters to the swordfish to dessert. The wine list is long enough to provide options for all occasions without overwhelming.

    We had a nice business dinner. The drinks were very good. I had the scallops with lobster risotto, and it was excellent. The staff was attentive and we didn't want for anything.

    Food is good, but pricey. Service was ok, but our server was new and made several mistakes. Everything was rectified but causes concern when they charge what they do. Main reason we chose this location was because of the decor. We were told the main dining area was not seated due to staffing, however they seated people there not long after our dinner was ordered.

    I would suggest dining at Bristol’s if you like seafood. I was a little skeptical of them having exceptional seafood since they are after all in the Midwest. But I was pleasantly surprised. Bristols food was spot on I had blackened black grouper and scallops and they were phenomenal. I will be going back. They are priced a little high but the food is worth it.

    Everything was excellent. From the drink I ordered at the bar, before dinner to the wonderful dinner we enjoyed. The crème brûlée really topped off the evening. Great Service at the bar and at dinner. We love Bristol.

    There were four of us celebrating our February birthdays. Three of us ordered the three course dinner and all said delicious! The fourth person ordered crab cakes which he said were delicious. We had a very nice server, always attentive to our needs and went out of her way so we could have a delicious and enjoyable experience and a nice birthday celebration. Thank you Bristol’s!

    We had a wonderful experience at Bristol’s last night! Our server Robin C was exceptional! He was attentive & very prompt in making sure we had all we asked for. Our entrees were delicious & prepared to our liking!!! The evening was fabulous!
