Cajun Colorado Rib Steak
Always great consistent quality food and service
Bryant & Cooper is the best steak in all of NY. Have been coming for years, the Cajun ribeye is an elite level steak!
Porterhouse was so tender. Amazing. Service was good. Tuna tartar also good as was wedge salad. Tables a little cramped for COVID.
We were a party of 5. Not the first time coming here. Steaks were all overcooked and no taste. Very chewy. Sides were not up to standards. The waiters did not seem to care about our table. Was it because we did not order any drinks or appetizers? Sure seemed like it from the facial expressions. Not happy.
Went for a a birthday dinner. Packed and LOUD on a Tuesday night. Ordered porterhouse for 2 and looked for waiter to guide in prep as far a temp. He looked at us as if we were stupid. Most steakhouses pride themselves on waitstaff providing that intel. Was near to impossible to get second round of drinks. Has planned to have a birthday dessert there but asked for check while still eating as we couldn’t wait to leave.
There are so many steakhouses to choose from and all better food and value . Take a hard pass.
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the Cajun Ribeye!
Great portions and great price!
absolutely the best raw bar anywhere!!!
Never ever disappoints. The cajun ribeye is simply the best anywhere.
The worst place ever it was my first time and my last time there, the waiter was rude beyond belief! We ask what was the best steak on the menu he said he didn’t know for me to look so we did then I said we will take the porter house for 2 he said you know that’s 120.00 I said yes I know I don’t care about the price then processed to say well you can’t get it well done everyone at my tables order he messed up nonetheless I was still upset about the price reference my daughter said maybe he just has to be clear with ppl ok then a young couple around 20 if that sits down right next to us and they order the porter house never once does he say ya know its 120.00 so I definitely had to approach him about that and his answer was because you looked at the menu!!! Wait didn’t you tell me you didn’t know what the best steak was and to look at the menu ??? Are you serious and the menu clearly stated a price that couple didn’t look at the menu maybe you should have said the price to them just despicable!!! I asked for the check and paid with my BLACK American Express card . Very rude and disrespectful I will never be back there again!
Lovely upscale establishment. As it is a steakhouse, you can expect higher prices, but well worth it if you love a good cut of meat. Avid fans of soft-shell crabs, we were pleased that they were available and made a terrific start as appetizers before we moved onto the Porterhouse for two. Absolutely delicious. The staff are pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable.
Birthday celebration, the staff did a very nice job with the dessert presentation, singing “Happy Birthday@.
One of the elegant restaurants. The entire staff makes you feel like a VIP. Food was tremendous!
Amazing amazing amazing! Impeccable service, outstanding food, perfect ambience. We will absolutely be returning as soon as possible. Worth every bit!
We had our anniversary dinner here and it is now our favorite local steakhouse. We hop around to a lot of different steakhouses because it’s our favorite splurge food for special occasions. The Cajun Colorado Rib Rye steak and sides blew us out of the water with freshness and taste cooked to perfection. I’m not a fan of Cajun spices because they tend to be too spicy for me. However, this was the tastiest rub I’ve ever had on a steak. We can’t wait to go back!
Have been here a few times and each time is just as awesome as the previous. Great food, service and ambience. I highly recommend this venue for your dining pleasure.
Love the porterhouse rare, side of the home fries, clams oreganata and Ofcourse creamed spinach. Red wine ofcourse
They were rushing us out after our bill was $800 and will never go back there
Food was very good.
Service was very , very rushed. A big push to speed up the dining experience. Not enjoyable.
The food here is always fantastic. The staff is very professional and friendly. The best steakhouse in NY. Be back soon.
Always exceptional. Great service and quality of food!
When it comes to a Porterhouse for Two Bryant and Cooper are in a league of their own.
My Wife and have dined here a minimum of Four times a Year for more than 30 Years.
Usually the noise level is too high in order to enjoy a conversation. We were delighted this time as the noise level was moderate due to 75% capacity. Our waiter was very good and his support staff was superb. The maitre' d Was nicely dressed and most personable. He walked past each table to be sure all was up to par.
Both food and service are always consistently good.
This is a lovely restaurant. The food is delicious. The staff is fabulous and the decor is refined. Our waiter, Ruben,
was attentive, friendly and eager to please his customers.
He gave excellent dinner recommendations. I highly recommend this establishment for everyday dining or parties. The valet staff are also helpful and very accommodating.
Food and service were excellent. I rated food a 3 because I specifically asked if the salmon was wild or farmed, and was told it was wild, but when I got the meal it was clearly farmed.
This is an excellent restaurant. The food is delicious, the premise is clean and the staff are eager to please their customers. Our waiter, Ruben, was extremely cordial and accommodating. He gave us excellent dinner recommendations. I highly recommend this establishment.
First time out since the pandemic hit. Delicious food, great service and all around tremendous experience. Thanks for bringing us back into the world in style!
First time eating inside since COVID. Tables did not seem particularly 6 ft. apart. Place was packed. Steak fabulous. Fried onions were overdone/bordered on burnt. Salad good. Service was very good and polite. Definitely return.
Incredible meal for a special occasion
Always my favorite steakhouse. Great food, drink, service and ambiance!
Would have liked the tables further apart
All good My favorite restaurant even though it is super expensive
best steaks ever. Be careful when you order. Some of the waiters don't speak English and mess up your order. Bus boys not the best. One was quite nasty,
The best! Thanks, George and team!
Everything was on point AS ALWAYS!!!! We LOVE this restaurant and the renovation is a great addition to the bar area.
With a reservation they had no seats inside the dining room
Had to eat in bar area
Drinks are loaded with mostly ice and little vodka for $15
Steak - sirloin and filet mignon were just ok
Hash browns were raw
Creamed spinach was ok
Waiter did not dole out the potatoes and spinach to us.
Will not go back
They obviously have favorite customers that they dote on
There are other steak houses to go to
Had to wait 20 minutes for check
This restaurant is good I imagine if you have a steak which is pretty up there. However, to go for fish is crazy. They give you a piece of Salmon without a single thing on the dish and charge $35.00, filet of sole $36.00 without a dab of anything to make it look nice. I would go to a seafood restaurant before there in the future. I don't know how steak is, but, it seems even more expensive than Peter Luga's and I would rather spend the money at Peter Luga before there. The waiter never even came back to ask how anything was and was not so interested in giving explanations on the food they have to offer. We eat in all the expensive restaurants around Long Island and the Borough's including New Jersey. I would not say this was anything that special.
Restaurant was very crowded and noisy. Food was good.
Food was good and service was excellent. Surprising that the bar had limited options on bourbon.
Not my first time and despite the following negatives, I'd probably go back because the food is good.
Nice clubby steakhouse feel, very efficient though not cordial service.
Cool greeting by host, waiter slapped the paper receipt down at the end.
Yes, they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.
I think if you were perhaps a regular or with a large group it might be a better experience.
To some degree the nonchalant demeanor is part of the steakhouse experience.
So, if impersonal treatment is not an issue add a star.
