The tables upstairs were too close together. Not fun bumping elbows and jackets with table next to yours. Good scallion pancake, carrot dumplings & peanut noodles. Tai Shan Cauliflower need more flavor.

Delicious, creative food. Innovative and cavernous interior, but pretty loud. Service wasn't rushed and was helpful and attentive. . Not cheap, but not out of line for what it is. Also appreciate that the kitchen stays open later than most.

Hands down a complete restaurant. What do I mean? The service was great, the ambience was delightful, the food was incredible. Went here for my partner and I’s anniversary dinner and she was so happy with everything. Just a spectacular restaurant overall. Portions were unexpectedly larger than anticipated, but that and the quality absolutely nails the value part. Very familiar Asian flavors for the “American palette” (even the Dimsum), but in a much more elevated manner.

I went back to Buddakan last night, and had an overall great experience. We were seated in the main dining room downstairs which had a really nice ambiance, and our waitress was incredibly helpful and accommodating for one of the members of my party who has several challenging food allergies. They brought over a marked up menu with specifics of what was safe for her to eat, which made navigating the menu feel less stressful. Our server checked in on us several times, brought over extra items, and made sure our water glasses were always full. She gave great recommendations on what to order, was knowledgeable about the menu, and had a warm and friendly demeanor. The char siu pork, mushroom chow fun and crab sticky rice were some of our favorites! The Ginger Scallion Chicken was not something I'd order again. However, the Ube Mochi Donuts were (dangerously!) good. The only part of the experience that felt off was the check-in experience; we had to ask to check winter coats even without anyone else at the front, but outside of that hiccup, all else felt like a very elevated, personalized, and delicious dining experience! Definitely great for a celebration or date night out.
