   Feeling quite let down by Byfords tonight! Always highly recommend them and have been so many times! My parents had a £40 voucher to use so I booked them a table tonight for their 35th wedding anniversary. Sat down, 20 minutes had gone by before a drinks order was taken! Then rushed through their entire meal! The food was terrible, the food is never bad at Byfords which is why I was so surprised! My dad said he complained as his dish had clearly been sitting under the hot plate far too long, that the veg was dry and bacon was rock solid! The staff did take the meal off the bill as it was that bad! Not sure what happened at Byfords tonight, but it’s never been this bad. After booking for a special occasion tonight which I also stated on my booking, I won’t ever be sending my family there again. Service and food was absolutely awful!

   Food was ok but didn’t seem as fresh. Lots of work going on. Hopefully when it’s finished byfords will be back to excellence

   It is always a pleasure to visit Byfords, and this visit did not disappoint. As a vegetarian, I had a wide choice from their menu. The service was friendly and well paced. It is good to see the changes to the layout, which will, no doubt, add to everyone's experience.

   Celebrating a friend’s birthday the Staff were amazing and very kindly lit a candle so we could sing very loudly to celebrate. My son who has hollow legs completely polished off his amazing breakfast and the best milkshake I have ever seen

   We had a lovely brunch. But service to take our order was a little slow, and there was a delay in bringing out the 4 plates. Two came and then there was quite a delay for the last two to come to the table.

   We stayed the night so enjoyed brunch, dinner and breakfast at Byford’s and everything was just perfect! Food was first class, setting lovely and staff were friendly and professional. Brilliant food and stay!

   Lovely evening meal 😋 Great service at Byfords one of my favourite places in Holt. Haven't been for while for an evening meal but the Norfolk passport 3 courses deal invluding drinks was a great deal. Highly recommend

    Had Skinny Breakfast (both of us), my friend having no avocado so was given extra mushrooms. Everything as hot and well presented. Service excellent !! Highly recommend it!!
