Great food service ambiance!

All around great experience. Drinks were great (highly recommend the Paper Plate) Food was amazing...specially the sea scallops.

The food at this place is UNREAL. I came here for lunch with girlfriend the day before Valentine’s Day and the attention to detail was insane. We shared the octopus salad to start and it was divine. I haven’t had a plate in years that made me feel the way I did as to when I had that octopus salad. I swear I was transported to another place from the euphoria that it brought. Then as the main course I had the stuffed burger which had such unique and exquisite flavors it’s almost an injustice to just call it a burger. Immense compliments to the chef who is an absolute genius and a master at their craft. Also tremendous shoutout to the staff who was excellent at explaining the plates, attending to our needs, and being all around just awesome humans. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. So delicious, so unreal.

This is just a lovely restaurant with a super super friendly staff and very good food. We had the tuna and the steak which were both delicious!

I LOVED this restaurant. Suggested by our hotel it did not disappoint. Great service and the food was fantastic. I had the burrata appetizer special and duck ragu - awesome! My husband had the stuffed burger and loved. We were in town visiting - and I highly recommend!

The pasta was amazing and the drinks were really good. The service was stellar and amicable. People were properly distanced. Overall a great evening.

To start this was our first visit. Cafe
Amarcord was next on our ‘Restaurant To Do List’. My husband planned this dinner date for my birthday. The service was really good, and he wasn’t always around (my biggest pet peeve). With the necessity of having to wear masks, it was really hard to hear the list of specials. The veal special was really delicious. The duck ragú was really good, but nothing about it said WOW. We got 2 desserts which were delicious but VERY VERY small and as a result, too expensive. Overall, it’s a really good restaurant. A solid 4⭐️ We will definitely be back, after we try a few other spots on our list.

Great service, great food! Compliments to the chef. We got the sea scallops starter that was seared to perfection. Sole special and ravioli special, both were delicious. Can't wait to go back!

A very lovely restaurant in Beacon. Everything from starters to desserts is well made. Highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara. The service is attentive. We’ll be back.

Very good cuisine, service and ambiance but the prices are on the high side for Beacon, NY

My boyfriend and I went there without a reservation to see if we could get a table. We were told they were booked for the night by a person behind bar.(she didn't eaven check. I guess hostess was not there at that time.)
I immediately checked opentable, were a few spots available that night. So I booked right away.
We were debating to have dinner eather cafe Amarcord or KS (first choice) do to great reviews.
Unfortunately KS was closed that night, so I really wanted to try at cafe Amarcord.
We ordered octopus salad (it was ok too much celery taste) cauliflower soup(good) carbonara (not much taste I have to ask salt) ricotta cheese pasta(it was ok)...we both didn't finish pasta.
My appetizer came first before my wine, we have to ask server to bring it and our pasta came 30 min after we finished our appetizers. We were not rushing...(Maybe we are used to NYC time) But that was too much gap.
Hoping that day or what our choice was missed .
We didn't try the dessert ( we are sweet lovers).

The hostess we met was nice and nice cozy atmosphere at there.
It was nice to see the restaurant was busy in this time.

We had a delicious dinner al fresco. Our waitress was Grace and she was just lovely and very pleasant. She recommended a red snapper special which was quite tasty

Waitress was aggressive, like she wanted to turn the table over as quickly as possible. Not super relaxing...

Delicious pasta dinners and a great bottle of wine on the patio. Looking forward to dining inside someday when the pandemic is over. Wonderful service by the waitstaff.
