They have a great covid friendly set up out front. Pretty warm and very vibey. Food is great and reasonably priced. One critique would be the service was a bit slow especially toward the end but it was a really busy night

The food was beyond amazing from our appetizers to our main dish to our desserts it was so so amazing I can’t wait to go back already been wanting more! Definitely will be coming back real soon!

This restaurant did a great job separating the tables for Covid. We enjoyed a lovely evening. I had the squash ravioli which had a unique nutmeg or cinnamon flavoring. WIne was great too.

Absolutely wonderful. We’ve lived in this area for 5 years and it was our first time. We are already planning our next time back!!! Thank you to the whole staff, especially Marcelo and Giovanni for making our evening the perfect night out!!!

This restaurant created an excellent outdoor experience. Each table was divided by a partition and had their own heat lamp. Even though it was cold outside, we were able to eat with our coats off. Service was excellent. The staff really hustled. Food was served very hot. Several choices to choose from. They did not have a different outdoor menu. Specials were delicious as I choose to order from their daily special menu. Prices are very reasonable. We had a lovely experience.

We went to eat outdoors on one of the coldest nights this winter and were perfectly comfortable. The heat lamps were toasty warm and the tables were spaced adequately with plexiglass between them as well. Will definitely be returning!

We love Nando! He’s a great host and the food is fantastic! It was very warm outside and the food was decadent and delicious. Yummy tiramisu. Highly recommend!

Although it was outside dining the owner of this establishment made it as comfortable as possible for his customers. The food was amazing and the service was great. It was cold but good. Hoping the city opens back up so we can have the full experience.

I can’t believe for years I never came to this restaurant. They have a great set up for Covid and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for.

The patio in the back was completely covered, felt more of being inside. It was also super cold and the heaters they had were nit strong enough and only blowing hit air. We ordered the appetizer that was suppose to come with peaches, but gave us a mellon instead. I ordered the lobster linguine carbonara and it was terrible. The fish did not taste good at all. Another dish we ordered came with a different type of pasta.

Great food and great service! Got the pesto linguine with mozzarella on top and it was delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious. Loved how each outdoor table had it's own personal heater. The service was average at best. We asked for specific items multiple times (water, bread, etc.) that never came to the table. Additionally, the waiter was not too friendly. Would still come back as the food was delicious.

Selection was very varied and appealing. Food was good and serving sizes were generous. All around, well done! Recommended.

7pm reservation restaurant was pretty empty. Had to beg for a table under the tent rather than narrow sidewalk. Waited 56 minutes for our two salad appetizer’s when people who came after us got their hot appetizer’s before us. Maitre’d was quick to blame others but we are pretty confident he didn’t put order in. After the salads which were bland on my opinion we shared fish and black pasta with seafood fra diavolo and was VERY surprised we had to crack open the lobster mixed into the pasta. By end of the meal maitre’d poured us two glasses of complimentary wine for the inconvenience which we didn’t drink RATHER than comp us for the drinks we ordered. Would not go back for many reasons. There are plenty of better restaurants in the neighborhood.

Didn't have a chance to even sit down. Even though we booked an outdoor table they tried to seat us inside. When we said we were not comfortable they said there were only tables for four available. Was excited about trying but experience was disappointing. Doesn't even look like they are using open table to manage reservations... Went to UVA and had a nice time.

Great Covid outdoor dining setup and delicious food

I LOVE this place for it's food and ambiance outside of COVID so I had to stop by recently because I needed some good pasta. They have done a beautiful job with distancing the seats and the outdoor seating (with heaters). I was mislead when seated with the wine menu. I was told that a certain section of the menu was half off. Don't be fooled, it was full price on the bill. Just make sure to ask.

The pasta was melt in your mouth delicious...and cheap! A rare gem for UES locals.
