    We always enjoy Canoe. I was surprised though, to learn that even when our reservation was for 10:45 a.m., we couldn't really request a window table. That's so early!!! We were virtually the first people seated in the busier, noisier upper level. Our hostess said "we'll have to go back up front to reassign you" when we asked for a window table. This seemed like a lot of trouble to go to! My husband has a severe hearing impairment, and a hearing aid, so when the noise level got deafening, he was really upset. It causes him great distress because the noise is magnified in his hearing aid and he can't hear people at the table. The hearing problem is better if we sit by something solid (like a wall or window) at least on one side. My sister in law will only have one 75th birthday, and unfortunately it passed us by sadly on this day, with a problem that could've been easily fixed. We'll have to rectify this situation if we ever come back! Thanks

    What amazing service. Steve did an awesome job taking care of us. We had the venison, char, and duck. All prepared creatively and to perfection. The famous popcorn and ice cream dessert and the chocolate peppermint one did not disappoint. We will be back!

    Our entire experience was amazing. From the valet service, the hostess, our server & team, were all so very friendly. Our actual server, I believe her name was Bo, was exceptional. She made it all worth it. Thank you! The Asman’s (And sorry if I got our server name wrong).

    An Atlanta staple. After a year absence - great to come back. Bar service/cocktails were great. Recommend the Tom Ripple. Dinner - old favorites like the Duck Burger - was great. Started with Kangaroo and a great squash soup while others enjoyed the Char and Duck. Always good noting again - great servers

    It's Canoe. It was amazing as always. One dish came out cold and they heated it and replated it to where it looked brand new then comped 4 glasses of port and 4 delicious looking desserts (which of course was in no way necessary). Service from Frank and the world famous Kevin was phenomenal and of course the food was amazing and interesting. Try the kangaroo if it's still on the menu when you go. I truly can't imagine having a bad experience here, and while I would still rank it just behind Bacchanalia purely on the food experience when you combine atmosphere, service, ambiance and presentation and absolutely exceptional beverage service and presentation, it is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Atlanta (and you can go in jeans!)

    We were celebrating my wife's birthday and she loved it! Our waitress was amazing! The presentation of the food was beautiful and it tasted great. We had the crab cakes and the calamari for appetizers and the cod and swordfish for our entrées. We shared the popcorn ice cream sundae for dessert.

    Highly recommended. Goes without saying one of the best dining experiences in the northern Atlanta metro area. Fantastic staff, excellent ambiance, and high quality food. Impeccable wine and bourbon list. Wish they would expand the steak selection to include a bit more options, but otherwise, excellent choices. Will certainly be back.

    Went with friends whom I had not seen in a while. The food was delicious, the atmosphere outstanding and the service was without rival. Canoe is everything an exceptional restaurant should be and the next time I am in Atlanta, it will be my “go to”.

    The entire staff was welcoming and delightful. Matthew was our waiter and he couldn’t have been more engaging and on point. My wife started with the Moore Farm African Squash Soup and she said it was excellent. I had the Mercier Apple Salad with Hiney Cream Cheese, Walnut, Rum-Cranberry Vinaigrette. It was bursting with just the right combination of flavors. We both had the Bay Of Fundy Salmon cooked to perfection. Well seasoned and fresh. We finished with a delightfully twangy sorbet. Hats off to the management and staff!

    First time visit to Canoe. We had lunch and the crowd was mainly by the windows overlooking the river. We were on the main level which was less crowded and less noisy. Will visit again.

    My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, and we had an incredible experience. We have been to some of the best places in Atlanta (big foodies), and they don't hold a candle to Canoe. I highly recommend this place. The food was amazing, and the value was outstanding. We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, a dessert, and multiple drinks, yet our bill was under $200 for gourmet, delicious, and fabulous food. We were astounded by the value; you get not only a beautiful restaurant and exceptional service but also ample, high-quality food at an unbeatable price, that is unprecedented in today's economy. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter, a student at KSU, displayed a level of professionalism and knowledge of the menu that belied his youth. It was truly white-glove service. The several times we were wished a happy anniversary made the night even more special; it was printed on the menus, mentioned as we came in, and written in chocolate on our dessert. The standout dishes included the Kangaroo appetizer, which my partner said was one of the best things he's ever eaten. The seasonal bread offering (cranberry walnut bread) was, surprisingly, one of my favorite items of the night. The maple duck, recommended by our waiter, was cooked to perfection. Thanks for a great night Canoe, we will 1000000% be back.
