   Waitress was good. Knowledgeable on menu and friendly. Thought the food was OK. Steak was cooked the way I asked. Risotto was so. Desert was OK. I would say the place felt a bit dated. I enjoyed my meal but would likely continue to try out other places in the area.

   Food and service were excellent. I had the scallops and my husband had a steak. Scallops were large but still very tender. My husband found found his medium steak to be perfectly cooked. The bernaise sauce was first rate. The desserts were perfectly sized and delicious.

   We had a great first experience and Charles was the best server we have experienced in awhile. When we come back we will request him. He was very knowledgeable about everything and very attentive to us. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

    On a trip to St. Louis for the annual Glazier Football Coaches Clinic, my wife and I decided to have Saturday Evening meal at Carmine's. We had previously dined there after a Cardinals Game in 2017 and loved it. We were once again treated to an excellent dining experience, complete with awesome service and expert care in the preparation of our meal. Various staff stopped by our table to inquire how everything was, which delighted us as it showed how much the proprietors care about the quality of their product. Needless to say we look forward to our next dining experience at Carmine's.

    The service was great. The steaks are listed as market price but they were ranges from $50-60 for the regular steaks the specials were higher. The waiter recommended the 20 oz bone in rib-eye for me and it was great. Very tender very juicy. The only complaint I could have and it’s a reach for a complaint is maybe it was a little over cooked. I ordered medium and it was on the high side of medium going toward medium well. And that’s a reach. I believe my ribeye was $55. She got the 8oz fillet and it was perfectly cooked and all but melt in your mouth tender. Very good steak. Her steak was $50. The baked potato I got was easily a 10 oz potato and her twice baked was phenomenal. We got the risotto appetizer and it was very good as well. They gave us a cheesecake with a strawberry topping for our anniversary and that was great as well. I would definitely come here again for another special occasion.

    Food was incredible. Large Portions worth the value. The service was okay. Our server was very quiet, didn’t give us the foods of the day nor any recommendations. Had to remind the server for my drink twice. For a fine dining restaurant I would expect a bit more service than that. Luckily the food makes it worth it.

    Steaks, sides and desserts were high quality and delicious. Served as ordered. High level steakhouse, high level prices but entree has a side included. Desserts are some of the best. Highly recommend.

    The shrimp cocktail, the vegetable of the day, and desert were very good. The steak was average. The lobster tail was below average, and the onion rings were really bad. Good service and environment. Not in any hurry to return. Not worth the price, cost benefit ratio is not favorable.

    Everything was 5 star! No wait, table was ready, they knew it was our birthday from our reservation! A VERY delicious FREE birthday dessert! Food and drinks were delicious! Bring your wallet, pricey but so worth it and we enjoyed our birthday dinner!!

    This was our first visit to STL and found Carmine’s on Yelp. I’m so glad we dined here! Our waitress, LT, was fantastic. The food was amazing and the dessert was delicious. The ambiance was perfect. We will be back!

    First time at Carmine’s. We were seated quickly, which was nice. Obviously this is a high end restaurant, so we weren’t completely surprised that the steaks did not have pricing on the menu, which made it somewhat awkward. Our waitress offered to decrease the amount of appetizers in an order, but failed to inform us that it would still cost the same. She offered this so we weren’t overwhelmed by the amount of space the apps would take up on the table, this was her recommendation. I guess most guest don’t care how much they are spending, however it would be nice to inform us we would be getting less and pay the same price. The food was excellent and we were taken care of adequately. Large food portions, which only one person in our party was able to finish his whole meal.

    Overall good experience. Waiter was attentive and food was plentiful. I had the steak carmine medium. Done perfectly. The sauce was a little sweet for my liking and I should have ordered that on the side. The augratin potatoes were delicious. My husband had the sea bass which he enjoyed. We also split a large house salad which was plenty. I ordered the Italian dressing which tasted extremely salty to me and again should have ordered on the side or a different dressing all together. Overall good experience and I would return.

    Food was excellent--we had steaks, fish special and rack of lamb--all were great. Baked potatoes and other vegetable dishes were very good. Kevin is a great waiter and took very good care of us. Mike runs a great restaurant--food is always great and service is outstanding.

    My husband and I love going to Carmines for our date nights! Last night I got 8oz filet and mushroom risotto (highly recommend!) my husband got the 16oz bone in filet (he usually gets ribeye) He said this steak was phenomenal, as well as his twice baked potato. Our drinks were great too and service from Byron was excellent! We definitely recommend Carmines!

    Carmine’s is a fantastic establishment. From the valet parking to entering the door, everyone was so polite and caring. Our waitress Alexandra or Alex for short, was great. She was very attentive for everything we might need to make our night so special. Food was great, Bone In Ribeye was to kill for. I would highly recommend this establishment. Will be back!
