It was our first time and we will come back. Very welcoming staff and simply but nicely decorated restaurant. Good wine list with nice choice of French and non French wine. The menu (you can only choose what kind of meat / dessert) is made of creative french dish with Japanese ingredients and touch. Lunchtime reservation, staff was attentive, atmosphere was subdued and upscale. We were attracted by their (reasonably priced) lunch menu. We visited on our last day in Tokyo, to check off our bucket list of experiences not to miss while in Japan. We were pleasantly surprised! I ordered the very expensive kobe steak and was overwhelmed by the taste, so tender and delicious! Despite the lunch specials, which my children enjoyed, I couldn’t resist ordering their premium steak chef’s specialty. I was so glad I did, savoring every last bite of this meal. Their kobe steak was definitely worth the splurge! The chef was also kind enough to whip up a seafood dish (not on their lunch menu) for a vegetarian in our group. Akasaka Sichuan Hanten, in Tokyo, serves a fresh and authentic take on Chinese cuisine in its friendly and relaxing restaurant. The cold chicken with sesame and chili pepper sauce and the daikon pickles make excellent appetizer options. Some of Akasaka Sichuan Hanten�s specialty entr_e dishes include the sea cucumber stewed in hot and sour sauce, the abalone in sesame gravy, the Szechwan-style smoked duck, the fried chicken with hot pepper sauce and the stir-fried beef in oyster sauce, all of which are beautifully presented.

As you proceed to the inside of the restaurant by being greeted with 6,000 bottles of wine filling up the walls, first you will see the square-shaped semi- private rooms, and then there is a vast dining floor of about 180 seats spreading out in front of you.
You can enjoy a new type of Japanese cuisine, that is based on the traditional recipe unique to Nadaman that take full advantage of seasonal ingredients, with some contemporary essence added.
