The Chelsea Cheeseburger was outstanding. The 8oz. Hereford Beef Patty with Beer-Braised Onions and White Cheddar was served on Brioche Bun. It was delicious.

The Cheese Pizza with Plum Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese was wonderful.

I definitely will go back soon.

The food at Chelsea Tavern has always been outstanding and a great value for the price. Add to that the attentive and friendly service along with 30 craft beers on tap (with many more in bottles) and you might wonder why you aren't here more often. Also, Chelsea's dining room is one of the better Covid-19 dining set ups I have seen.

The meal was a good size portion and had very good flavors. Would go again if in the area and there was a nice selection of drinks.

We went for my daughters birthday and it was awesome. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious with generous portions, and the waitress was awesome and made sure we never had an empty glass .. she even surprised my daughter with a birthday surprise. We will be back for sure!

Everything was DELICIOUS, and if you love brownies, probably the best I’ve ever had

First time visiting and we will plan to go back! We ate early so pretty much had the dining room to ourselves- so felt very safe with covid. Even when some other parties arrived they had the tables spaced out well.
The food exceeded our expectations. The menu has a wide selections of sandwiches, salads and full meals. I had a pizza with goat cheese, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes which was great. Split the crab dip which was plentiful- if I could change anything it would be to switch out the crustini and add carrots/celery to be a bit healthier and more attractive to a wider swath of people.
Beers were great- excellent variety.

We LOVE Chelsea Tavern! Trio fries are amazing and so are their gameday specials. Never walked away unsatisfied.

Lovely Sunday lunch on sunny deck. Appreciate your innovation with deck, fencing, lights. Food was creative & fabulous. Waitress may have been letting us linger a little but we had work to get back to. When known,- she was very pleasant & eased our transition ! THANK YOU Chelsea Tavern for doing so well!

Great place for brunch. They also have restaurant week menus available for lunch and dinner. The crepes are also amazing! Will definitely come back soon!

The food is always good at Chelsea. I had the mushroom pizza, and it was absolutely delicious - best pizza I've had in some time. The service was attentive without making us feel rushed. COVID protocol was appropriate and we felt very safe eating inside the restaurant.

We went for lunch outside and food, service and atmosphere nice. The outside dining is off street so not crowded or loud. The crab dip was delicious and crab nachos were a large size. Going to go again.

Ate on the side patio and it felt really private, safe and fun. We had a great waiter who gave good recommendations and had a great sense of humor. We had the brussels sprouts as an appetizer. They are great. They have a beer and cheddar sauce instead of the normal balsamic and/or olive oil. Pizza my friend had was great; Kennett mushroom was delicious. I had the blackened rib eye. I enjoyed it but would try the brisket next time. Another friend had a fish special that she enjoyed. They also have a great drink menu; you want it; they got it. And they have stuff you haven't tried before if you are feeling adventurous. Reasonably priced and wish I had looked at the desserts!

Had a wonderful outdoor brunch. Everyone was raving about the bananas foster french toast! Beautiful part of the city as well.

Requested & obtained a table outside. Our waiter was attentive, reviewed the specials with us, provided good food & beverage recommendations, followed up several times to make sure we were enjoying our experience & to if there is anything else we needed. We really liked our dinner & would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere but the risotto that came with my meal was bland and I didn't eat it. I told the waitress and she knew exactly what I was talking about but didn't offer an alternative.

The food and service are always outstanding at Chelsea Tavern as is their craft beer menu. The bacon wrapped pork tenderloin is available again. I have had many pork tenderloin dinners and Chelsea's is the best by far. The other entrees were Chelsea's always outstanding burgers...try the Delaware Destroyer.

This was the first time we had been back since the beginning of the Pandemic. We were able to get outside seating. The service was great and the nachos were better than ever. Thanks Joe and crew.

Great service and delicious food!

I'm glad that the place is reopened. I stopped in on Friday night. This time, I was at the bar. The place is popular, and most of the other seating--indoor and out--was taken. Sherry was the bartender. Johnnie Platinum and James were in attendance. Elvis Elvis was running around, managing.

Sherry was attentive. I still had to wait for a few walk-ins to place orders before I could, but not too long.

One of the dinner specials was a 12oz ribeye. I ordered that. Also, a burrata appetizer special. The appetizer was a big blob of cheese with four crostini and some fig(?) jam. Great stuff. The ribeye came with asparagus and potato wedges. The steak was very good. Done perfectly.

Drinks were drinks. Yards Summer Crush beer from the tap. A couple of PBRs. I am not fond of drinking something fancy out of a plastic cup, but a manhattan still turns out pretty well.

For the COVID compliance-minded: all of the staff were wearing masks, and the customers were wearing them when coming, going or moving around. Beverages were all in single-use plastic. Food was still on real dishes and accompanied with silverware and cloth napkins. The seats and tables were properly spaced. Everything was constantly being cleaned.

Atmosphere is great. Had a good date night. I’ll recommend and come back again.

Chelsea Tavern has great outdoor area for drinks and apps but also has great dinner menu. Service was Awesome and Fodd was very Good!!!
