Clyde's is always a reliable favorite. Good variety on the menu, reasonable prices, quality food, and good service can be counted on. Each dining room has its own character and we choose one depending on the season, although the Newport Room is the all-time favorite.
Nothing special to report, was the same good experience I’ve come to expect from Clyde’s...
Next time you’re looking for a date night restaurant where you don’t need to talk loudly just to hear one another, kind of sophisticated but still relaxed and unpretentious, cozy ambiance, excellent service, free & easy parking, serves food late, delicious options, good wine list, reservations available, usually no standing in line even if you don’t have reservations, not ridiculously expensive, you can dress up or dress casually and still look appropriate, and you skip the hassle of driving in to DC, I recommend Clyde’s at Mark Center!
Consistently tasty dinners at a fair price. Cannot go wrong for dinner or drinks at the bar.
Great meal with business associates. Clyde’s is consistent with attentive, friendly staff and great food.
Thanks Clyde’s, I’ll be back!
Fish and chips bit greasy but chowder and corned beef was excellent!
Food was average, no real flavor, nothing I’d want to eat again
Love Clyde’s. Especially their consistency with food preparation and quality. When I want liver and onions I always know what I’m going to get. That nears a lot.
Oysters are what brings us to Clydes; they are the best.
As always good food good service. All Clyde’s are worth it.
Very nice, great service, food was excellent, atmosphere was very pleasant. Able to carry on a conversation without having to yell.
Fish and chips was underwhelming needs seasoning
We enjoyed the lobster dinner special, which was plentiful, delicious and all we had expected and hoped for.
We had to move tables because of a large group who were noisy with laughing. Happy with move but food coming out seemed delayed and dishes weren't cleared quickly.
Service is good, food is average. It is okay for a neighborhood restaurant and you just want to get together.
Clyde value is good. WARNING. Check your bill at the table. We bought & paid for drinks at the bar. Then carried the drinks to the table. When we got the bill at the table, the server added the cost of the drinks we carried to the table. The server was most likely instructed by management to do that. Would have been better if he asked before preparing the bill. I say again. CHECK the CHARGES on your BILL
There were six of us for lunch. Very tasty, good service, good ambiance.
From a family enjoying Clyde’s for 40 years: Reduce the amount of salt in all your dishes, please!
Very enjoyable evening. Food was excellent. Just loved the lobster, and wish it could be part of the menu all the time! Service was superb. Clyde's is a great place for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is good, and it isn't a noisy place to dine. How refreshing. I love the place.
Great decor inside and outside the restaurant. Classic American cuisine. Nice hospitality.
Clyde’s never disappoints. Always good food - oysters were terrific! And great drinks. Wonderful ambiance. Plenty of room in big booths but still felt intimate.
Stopped for late dinner. Came with reservations and was able to get a table in the Adirondack Room almost upon arrival. Had the Pork sausages with cheese fries and the rigatoni with a salad. The meals were prepared and presented with care. The food tasted excellent. The ambiance of Clyde’s is always first class
Good service. Small nit - I asked for the chicken sandwich, but I asked that they leave off the bread (trying to cut down carbs :-) ). The meal arrived with the bread, which I removed. Again, otherwise it was very good.
The best lobster deal EVER! Cozy room, excellent servers!
This is a very predictable and dependable restaurant. Food is good, service is warm, and they do all they can to make your experience great. Generally, a reservation is needed, as it is a busy place. Can't go wrong here.
Restaurant wasn’t too busy when we dined there yesterday. It was clean. Great Host staff. Food was perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. Ann-Marie (server) was wonderful and is a great asset to Clyde’s at Mark Center.
The Mark Center Clyde's restaurant provides an excellent venue for special occasions and the service is more than excellent. The server did an excellent job with providing the level of service for memorable occasions and we all were impressed with how she memorized each order without writing it down. I restaurant serves as both a comfortable dining place and also for families. It was my first time there since the Clyde's in Tysons Corner closed and it certainly won't be my last. I look forward to my next visit.
Waitress was attentive, quick with the check. Food was good, portion on salmon was a little small, but it was very delicious. Would order it again.
The check in didn’t go well. The staff was either new, or not very competent. And to top it off, I included that this was a birthday celebration in the reservation, and there was no acknowledgment of that. Very disappointing.
We came here for the lobster special and were pleasantly surprised it was excellent. Food drinks service all A+. We will be back. Busy and a bit of a wait but it went fast. Enjoy.
Birthday dinner with a friend
The fog could have been better from waiting over 1 1/2 for them. The starters were great. The main course had a long wait, cold, seemed it could have been better. I would give this place another chance. We only had 7 people in our group.
Never disappoints!! I’ve been to many Clyde’s restaurants and they are always so good! The crab cakes are my favorite! Had the lobster this time too! Which was so good and sweet!
I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and it never came. I asked the server again, and she forgot again. So weird. I never got charged for it, but it was a gap...
Good food and service. An enjoyable evening for our party of five. Our Server was particularly impressive.
Seated quickly. Food was good. But miss-communication between server and kitchen. French fries were supposed to be unsalted and came to table salted. Green beans were supposed to be steamed, no butter and came with butter. The waiter did not offer to bring it back again the way we had ordered it. So we were disappointed with the service. We enjoyed the ambiance and it was Sassy to have conversation because it was relatively quiet. Will come again and next time make a more pointed request about no butter and no salt.
Not sure if the restaurant is under new management, but if so they should go back to the old management. I say this because I have been eating at this restaurant for years and this is the first time that I have been totally disappointed with the food. The grilled corn salad had lots of corn husk in it, the main lobster seemed to be less than the size stated on the menu and the coleslaw wasn’t good at all. I don’t plan to eat here again. It is definitely not worth the prices they charge.
Excellent BLT sandwich!!
Great place for visiting with friends. ( very quiet )
Easy access for people using wheelchairs or walkers.
The wings were amazing
