Great Steak! Friendly service!
The service was great and the burgers we ordered were each cooked to order and were delicious. A great spot just off of Times Square.
Gerry was a great guy. Staff was very accommodating. Food, drinks and music were great. Highly recommend.
The food was average, the ambiance was good, the staff was friendly
Great the people where nice
Totally felt COVID-safe here- they took our temps before letting us come inside and bathrooms were super clean. The food was awesome and portions were way big for the price. DIdn't feel touristy even tho we were in a super touristy section of the city and it was cozy and warm on a nice crisp fall nite. Had the Irish Beef Stew special and it was delightful!
Outstanding!! Love this place!!
Pleasant experience ! Connolly’s Red a good one!
We come here EVERY time we come to the city!! Whether it's to see a play, visit fir the day to hand around Central Park or see the City at Christmas time! We ALWAYS make our way to this location for the good food, great hospitality and overall great time!! SLAINTE!!!!!
Great place to go for lunch or dinner especially if you are seeing a show. The restaurant is on 45th St. in the heart of the theater district, so it is an easy walk to or from most theaters. The decor is reminiscent of a vintage gentlemen’s club... nice bar, dark wood with a definite Irish vibe. The wait staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and the food was great. Pub food with an Irish flair. (Prices I thought were pretty reasonable.)... Worth every penny.
Great food fun atmosphere
Had a 5:15 reservation and arrived at 5:00 abc were seated right away .
Friendly service. Manager came over to check on us . We skipped desert as it got very busy and we didn’t want to be late for the show . Would definitely return. Food was very good and a nice atmosphere . I’d say a step above the regular Irish pub .
Booked this as it was close to the hotel and we were
Tired from traveling and sightseeing our first day. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Yummy French onion soup, chicken curry, and Caesar salad. Brussel sprouts also very good. Convenient and a solid meal!
Crab cakes were good as was fish and chips. Waitress not very friendly, rather snobby. Never said hello or told us her name.
Great food, service, and music.
Irish pub ambiance with good, not terrific, food. Staff efficient, but not particularly friendly.
Ok, pub type food. Burger was good, friend got beef stew and she thought it was good. Husband got shepherd’s pie, and thought it was not so great. Happy hour drinks at bar only even though sign said upstairs, we were told after seated it was only for the bar upstairs.
Great food and great service! Always a good place to go before a Broadway show.
Best food we have had in nyc so far :-)
Visiting New York City. We went to Connolly’s for pre-show fish & chips. We were dismayed that a group who walked in off the street were seated before us, even though we had a reservation. I think we ended up with better seats anyway, and the food was excellent. A massive fillet of fish in a light, flavourful beer batter. Close to the theatre is a bonus. A definite win. Happy to recommend.
Great food and atmosphere!
Extremely noisy to the point of unenjoyable. Food was so, so and service was slow and unattentive.
Decent food for a pub. Also, reasonable selection of beers. Location in NYC Theater District makes it good choice for dinner and a play. Our Irish school teacher - waitress was lovely.
Loved the location. Table ready when promised and food was very good.
Excellent food, great prices, and friendly staff.
Took my mom to a musical and had a great dinner before.
Great Irish pub, friendly bar scene. I arrived early and chatted with some people before meeting my family there. Wait staff was quick and food was good, definitely a go to place for future reference.
Husband and I stopped here for dinner before a show. It was very crowded, which we expected, but out table was shoved into an alcove on the second floor- wherever a table fit, a table went. The table abutted a half wall where the servers managed cutlery, glasses etc., but there was often a loud bang and resultant wall shaking which disturbed conversation. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, but then forgot about us. The food was mundane but acceptable. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I had the portobello on focaccia and it was not particularly good. The mushroom was too thin, rubbery, and dry. The fries were very good and the lime pie was delicious. My husband had the Reuben and was very happy. I probably should have ordered something else. But I will go there again. I would like to try their breakfast.
Food was average. Notified the server early that we had a show. Allowed an hour for dining, food took almost 50 minutes to come out. Overall, average pub experience, but not recommended if on a schedule.
Beer was cold , dinner was on point , when you go
to an Irish pub you have to get the fish and chips.
We were not disappointed.
I highly recommend trying this place !!
Food and service was outstanding for a Tavern
Great pub food
Nice pub. Food was very good! Close to theater district
Great service , Sarah was awesome , dinner was perfect pub food
We had to wait a few minutes for our reservation but the staff found a table for us, a party of 6, quickly despite being busy with a football game. The food service was very quick and the Shepherd Pie and Irish Stew were very good.
The host was charming so it was a good start to be greeted by such a nice gentleman ! Food was pretty good ! I had the Greek salad with shrimp and my guest had a burger. Both were delicious. We started with the spinach dip. I had better but still can't complain
Food and atmosphere were great. Highly recommend the Chicken Pot Pie!
Service was slow, even though it wasn't a busy time. The Irish Benedict was good. The bread for the avocado toast was awful and I couldn't eat it - it would have been really nice on a rye or sourdough though.
Quick service. Busy.
