Please note that our patio is first come first serve and reservations are not accepted for outdoor seating. We only accept reservations for the dining room. A few tables as well as the bar are saved for walk ins. Due to our cozy setting, for reservations of parties over 4 people please call Coppa directly.
As Coppa is a small intimate restaurant with limited seats, we do ask if you are running late to please call and alert the host. If the party does not show up, the table is given away after 15 minutes. Thank you in advance!
We love this spot - it's a smallish neighborhood spot with reliably excellent food. This time we sampled the celery caesar (one of our favorites) and the roasted octopus for starters, and the gnocchi and a salsiccia pizza for dinner. All had loads of flavor and were very well prepared. Definitely worth a trip!
Food, service and ambiance were perfect! My only reservation was that the music plus noise level made it hard to converse.
Great as always;
GREAt food, very pleasant service but ambient noise from music left us roaring our voices to converse over tiny tables and the very cool air con on an already cool evening left us uncomfortable. Might go back
There we 3 of us and we had to sit at a 2-person table. When we asked for a larger table they said that is where they sit 3 people parties. It was ridiculously small and hard to fit food and drinks.
A comfortable Italian neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food - the pastas were particularly good - and very reasonable prices. Service was quick and the waiter knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend, and plan to come back.
Always a good time. Staff is killer and the food is always on point. Favorite spot in the city
We ate both from the brunch menu and regular menu. Everything was tasty and the service was great. We'd go back again
Good food, specially for those who are tired of conventional Italian pasta!
Coppa never gets old. Always fabulous, the food, the service, the ambiance. Love it!! The Arancini and the carbonara ate my favorites. Great wine list. Love the Piedmont juice! Great time...once again!👍👍🍷🍷🎉
Amazing pastas! Pizzas and seafood also very good.
We ordered the cheese and meat plate, burrata, spaghetti and gnocchi. We loved all of the dishes except the gnocchi. While the gnocchi was cooked properly and the flavors were good, there was way too much salt so it took away from the other flavors of the dish. I would still highly recommend the other dishes though.
Coppa was excellent as always! Love bringing friends here and showing them the magic. My favorite way to visit: brunch reservation for 11am.
We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Coppa. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. We enjoyed the spring salad , caesar salad , octopus, simple but delicious margarita pizza and a wonderful tubular pasta with escargot and pesto. Lots of sharing plates.
Everything was prepared exceptionally well with a beautiful presentation. Would love to go back. Great neighbourhood spot.
Thank you !
The carbonara was really good! The staff were so nice and accommodating as well
Always amazing. Great food.
Great food but probably my least favorite of the Ken Oringer / Jamie Bissonet combos while being the most aggressively priced. This might lend to it being the better of these restaurants for a special, small group get-together versus a date night.
Portions are small and pricey but usually worth it
Birthdays and brunch. Table was available exactly at time reserved. Food was outstanding but comes out of the kitchen as finished, so there is no real order. Our meals were served over 1:15 which was a bit excessive. Do not plan on a quick meal. Great people watching both inside and outside the restaurant. The perfect millennials joint.
One of my favorite South End neighborhood spots. Food is amazing. It's super small, so book far in advance or be prepared to wait.
Birthday dinner was wonderful! Delicious food!
Restaurant was ready to seat us at the time of our reservation. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food is meant to be shared, tapas style, and comes very quickly. The small table gets crowded with dishes very quickly. Suggest ordering in pieces. Food was delicious and delightful. We'll go back the next time we are in Boston.
We were seated at a 2 top but there were 3 of us
Way too crowded a table to be comfortable
The waitstaff spilled water on our friend , never noticed it again way to crowded
Sitting close to door so chills at each openings. Other than that excellent food & service
Food was really great and service excellent. The place is a bit small and it gets quite loud but the dining experience is worth it. The wine list, however, needs to be improved to match the quality of the food. Bottom shelf wines by the glass and a meagre wine list to choose from.
I’ve been a customer at Coppa for a long time. However, I was really disappointed with the service today. We ordered many things with the pasta being our main, but the first thing that was served was the pasta. When we asked the waiter why the pasta came out first, he responded that the order of the food served is based on the order that we ordered them, which is unacceptable considering we ordered the pasta last as well. He offered to take it back and bring out a new one later. Later, we were served that same dish of pasta, which was very cold and dry. The restaurant should do a better job training its employees to not come up with the sorry excuse such as the one described here.
The service was great. The food portion was small relative to the price. The pizza was fantastic except that I didn't enjoy it too much since a lot of it was burnt and being conscious about ingesting carcinogens was not the best feeling. Otherwise it was very tasty but on the pricey side for their portion size.
One of my favorite spots for brunch! Beautiful to watch all of the families and dogs pass by. Their brunch menu is a great mix of egg based dishes, and the opportunity to have more classic Italian favorites like pizza and pasta. A very homey space that my friends and I enjoyed catching up and lingering in.
Overall it was good, wouldn't say GREAT. Feels very much like Kava which is around the corner except it's Italian. Food was above average for Italian, but you are also paying for it. I would go again as it's a fun place, but if given the choice between that and Kava I would pick Kava, unless you don't like Greek food.
Delish and innovative dishes but everything was overly salty unfortunately—especially the carbonara.
Very nice food !
Loved our lunch but overall the noise level was too much. Hard to hear each other plus one of the people next to us talked very loudly. It was busy so we had alternative to change our seats.
Ken Oringer does it again! The soft shell crab special was one of the best dishes I have ever had! Our service was impeccable and we loved the overall ambiance. the outdoor seating was spectacular, in such a great neighborhood in the South End. We love Toro, Uni and Little Donkey, so we now love Coppa as well.
Amazing food, perfect South End ambiance, and delicious cocktails.
First time there. Oysters, Burrata Salad, Polpete, Carbonara, and Tagliatelle all awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try everything else.
Coppa never fails to impress. The food, the wine, the ambiance, the excellent service. Love it!!
Very nice people. Food was a little too spicy and salty for our taste. Tables are very crowded you can't move.
Great food... cozy atmosphere would highly recommend
