$$$$Price: Expensive • Peruvian • Winter Park
Pros: Food came out in a timely manner and everything seemed fresh. All the plates we got were delicious, especially the tostones con ceviche. The leche de tigre ceviche was also delicious and I would order it again. I found it odd that the cocktails, wines, and other drinks didn’t have prices on it, but I got a very refreshing Pisco Sour.
Cons: Oddly enough, they didn’t serve us water and I had to ask for it. Typically the first question I get at restaurants is what type of water I’d like. I saw that this was the case at other tables too. Some pieces of meat in the lomo saltado were very undercooked. We did ask for Med. Rare, but there were unevenly cooked pieces that were black and blue raw. I’d recommend to make sure the steak pieces are cooked evenly. Lastly, I’d say ignore the sushi. It is 80% rice and cream cheese with a speck of protein.
I felt like we paid a lot for what we got, but the food at least tasted delicious (save for the sushi) and the service was on point.
