Excellent food. Good service. Nice space in the heart of North Beach. Octopus, Spaghetti Chitara Pomodoro, and Panna Cotta were all excellent. Enjoyed a nice btl of Etna Bianco and amaro afterwards. Will be back next time in SFO.

We visited Pizzeria Mercato as a farewell luncheon for two of our employee's. The lunch crowd was nice and the atmosphere was very quiet and pleasant for it to be lunch time. The service was great, and the food came out timely and piping hot which is a plus for me. Everyone really enjoyed the pasta and the rice balls in marinara sauce. I would highly recommend Pizzeria Mercato any time. Enjoy!

What a surprisingly special experience! The view is amazing, the staff is well informed, and really delightful, and the food...well, that is above and beyond any expectation I had. Every bite was more delicious than the last! A truly special place for any special event.

One of our SF all-time favorites! Food, cocktails, service, old-style ambiance always a winner with us! Great place for pre-theater dining. We parked in the garage across the street, dined, walked 2blocks down to BART station, got off one stop later in front of the Orpheum to see Wicked. Easy-peasy.
