My morning here was a great experience. I was really blown away by the atmosphere of the place, I felt like I was in a quaint corner of Italy rather than in the middle of Stratford. I would say that it was more of an experience than just breakfast. Absolutely stunning from the decor to the staff uniforms to that beautiful seat by the large windows. And the Iced Spanish Latte was perfect for a warm summers morning!

I cannot rave about this place enough. The high tea is perfect and I love that they have vegan options, it just helped include members of my party. The place itself, no words. It’s stunning and so detailed. This is my second time coming and both times I am genuinely blown away by the sheer beauty of the place and attention to detail, it’s magical and so immersive. The ambience is wonderful and the staff are so sweet. I highly recommend this high tea.

The venue is beautiful and a calm setting with great views. The food was on the whole was ample and a good selection. The sandwiches were a little dry on both sides and although there was a great selection of cakes, there were three of us and sometimes only 1 or 2 of the mini cakes on offer. Everything else had three eg three sandwiches, three scones Every all it was a great experience and value for money.

A truly gorgeous setting. The roast was excellent, one of the best we've had and good value for money. The portion size was huge. The Yorkshire pudding was a standout!

It is a nice restaurant with a view of Southend airport which currently is very quite (the airport) The staff were very helpful and friendly which was great, the food was good and even with the starter of my partner being slightly over cooked, they removed it from the bill and thanked us for our genuine feedback. Overall i would return to the restaurant and could recommend it.

Overall lovely experience. We were initially a little concerned about how attentive staff would be due to Christmas parties next door, however we had no reason to worry. The young lady waiting our table was polite, attentive and a credit to her team. Our meal felt intimate and the food itself came out in perfect timing and very well presented. It also tasted great. The restaurant itself was quiet and not very busy. Very happy with our experience
