Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Aylsham

This is the second time I've been to The Assembly House for Afternoon Tea and it was once again a wonderful experience a real treat. The food was of a very high standard equally matched with the excellent service.

We booked Cafe Benji which is on the first floor within Jarrolds department store in Norwich for "Afternoon Tea" to celebrate my wife's birthday, along with our youngest daughter. It was a really good experience and perhaps a hidden gem. We were warmly welcomed, expected due to having pre-booked, and taken to our reserved table. The service throughout was excellent, as was the tea (coke for my daughter) and food served, which included 4-varieties of sandwich, warm scones with cream and jam, and a super-cake selection. In fact we couldn't eat it all and they were well prepared with small takeout cartons. Benji's was well decorated/themed, creating a really nice setting. We went on a Monday afternoon, so naturally would be quieter. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

An incredible dining experience. We chose to stay and eat at Morston Hall to celebrate our engagement this weekend. The staff were incredibly kind and the food was the perfect way to celebrate. The courses were all delicious and left our tastebuds dancing. The ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely perfect as well.

Fantastic meal and stay to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Everything was superb from the spa, to the room, to dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend and return in a heartbeat. Thank you!
