What can I say…! I’ve not tasted such authentic & flavoursome Chinese food since I used to eat in Soho in London many years ago. My friend & I ate at the Dumpling Tree at 3pm in the afternoon after some retail therapy & goodness me did we thoroughly enjoy it. It was obviously quite quiet when we arrived but that suited us just fine. The food was amazing as it’s all made in-house so obviously freshly cooked & not at all greasy. We didn’t really know what to have to eat as we hadn’t been there before so we took the advice of the nice guy who took our order & chose the dumpling sharing platter plus chicken noodles & sweet & sour chicken noodles…..IT WAS ABSOLUTELY SCRUMMY…!!! 😋 Thank you all at The Dumpling Tree, we will definitely see you again very soon. I went with 3 friends and wanted to have a really excellent Indian meal with people I am very close to. The whole experience was excellent! The service was attentive and prompt but not intrusive. The onion bhaghee starters were absolutely fabulous! Large round balls of crispy exterior yet moist interior onion joy. We had a mixture of hot and medium curries and two very good bottles of wine. When I came to pay the bill I asked was service included and they said no. I really like that because if the service had been bad I would have had to create a scene but this way the choice was mine. I left a 20% tip in cash even though I paid by card. I will return for sure!

The whole experience was great. Daughter's birthday - service brilliant, but not over-attentive. Food fantastic - as always and a lovely birthday treat at the end x Used the App for the first time too and was very easy to navigate.
