Amai by Víctor was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in Dublin in a long time. The tasting menu was exceptional from start to finish — beautifully balanced, creative without being overly complicated, and packed with flavour. Every course felt carefully considered and showcased both excellent ingredients and impressive technical execution. What really stood out was the wine programme. The selection offers outstanding value for the quality on offer, with some superb bottles available at prices that are refreshingly reasonable for a restaurant of this calibre. It’s rare to find a restaurant that puts together such a thoughtful wine list while still delivering genuine value to diners. The service was equally impressive. Professional, knowledgeable and attentive throughout the evening, the team struck the perfect balance between being welcoming and unobtrusive. Their enthusiasm for both the food and wine enhanced the entire experience. Amai by Víctor delivers the complete package: outstanding food, excellent wines and first-class hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience in Dublin and will certainly be returning.
