Service at George IV was excellent, from being greeted to wait staff. Food was very good indeed, innovative, beautifully presented & well cooked. We went for lunch. Chin beef with mash (best mash I’ve had in a long time), curly kale (unusual & interesting dressing) & carrot which was lovely & buttery, companion had Hake cassoulet which was also excellent. The interiors were well kept although perhaps a little spartan. I’d definitely recommend.

Impeccable service from the front of house to seating us and the delicious food. I went with my 91 year old Mum who had not experienced The Ivy before and she loved it. Our waitress was amazing. She took time to explain clearly to my Mum and was generally knowledgable and kind. It was an extremely busy service due to Graduation Day. However not a beat dropped and it created a real buzz in the air. Just a real treat for her Birthday.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Redcoats celebrating my wife’s Birthday. The food was excellent ( we think it is the best in our area ) , the service good , and we weren’t rushed , which is how it should be , but often is not the case . The setting and ambience are both delightful .

We are a vegan and vegetarian and there are always options available. The mushroom risotto was a good portion and very tasty. We enjoyed the wine too and the service is friendly and attentive.
