The old place looks great and the whole experience was worth the visit. Booking was simple, we added another person to the table the evening before, by calling and received an acknowledgment to confirm. The food was lovely and plenty of it, a beautifully cooked Sunday lunchtime treat. The staff were friendly and attentive making the whole experience memorable. Delicious food and lovely flavours - thought the autumn menu was good - may be another fish main for us fish lovers rather than just the Stone Bass? Having said that my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my carrot side was heavenly. Wide wine selection but not too extensive and something for everyone. From the reception to the dinner table, staff were attentive, friendly, efficient and everything was done with ease. All our requests were granted as well. High quality food and really good value for money. Not very long wait time for food despite the fact that it was a busy night. The place was faultless, the ambience, the service, choice of interiors and also the seats were comfortable. Great selection of food on the menu and drinks too. The restaurant was easy to find given that it is in the city centre. Parking was not a problem, there are plenty of options around the city centre with a 5 minute walk to the venue.
