This is a good restaurant for Chinese food, and like many other upscale Chinese restaurants it seems tailored to appeal to common American tastes. My Chinese fianceé and I dined here while considering restaurants to privately book for our wedding, and we had a good experience. The food was presented well, the place has an aesthetic design, and customer service was excellent. The main critique I would offer is that it is quite loud, but that could be a product of its midtown location, its largely youngish office worker clientele when we dined here, and the lunchtime hour. Might be better at night.

Great authentic Sichuan food - so many good dishes to choose from and something for everybody, but the jellyfish salad and crystal shrimp dumplings were the highlight for me. It’s a cozy space and got much louder during the dinner time rush, but not unbearable. The staff did a fairly good job at managing everything, especially as it got busier.
