We had a lovely evening as a party of 6. We skipped starters and went for mains. Steak on the stone comes with chips and onion rings, pepper sauce which was lovely and tangy, garlic butter which was really creamy and full of flavour and a lovely rich gravey. Cook to order steaks were cooked perfectly in line with preferences and melt in mouth tender. The fish and chips were crispy and generous portions. Desserts were lovely special praise for the light roulade. Shame that there was no fresh fruit salad available especially when Desserts were garnished with strawberries and blueberries. The staff are lovely, friendly and efficient. Service was excellent. The only real downside was our table was located to the rear beside the door, so it was a little chilly at times as people came and went, but not a lot staff can really do about that and it certainly didn't put a dampner on our evening Overall an excellent experience and already planning our next visit.
