Management was also amazing and didn’t fail to ensure excellent service.More infoThe Park at 14thPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.8
- TTracyWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWent with two friends during DMV Restaurant Week for brunch. You could order from Restaurant Week menu or regular menu which was good since one of my friends felt just a main course was enough for her. We enjoyed the food and the service was good. The only thing I would suggest is that if someone orders tea, give them the choices available. The person who got my tea (not my server) didn't ask what I would like and just brought a random tea which was green. I like green tea but it didn't go with my dessert so I had to ask her to replace it. The space kind of has a bar-like vibe so just be aware of that if looking for something brighter.More infoB SidePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Fairfax•4.6
- LLauraVIPWashington, D.C. Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI'd heard via a local Foodies group that Trio Grill was very good, and when looking over all the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week I spotted Trio , and looking at the posted menu it looked like there were several options that each my husband and I would like (Too often restaurant week is too limiting for us). We were greeted warmly upon entering by the hostess and the maitre'd, and taken to a lovely large booth far from the entrance EXACTLY as I had requested in the reservation . There was a pianist playing beautifully through the evening, the decor was understated modern luxury, the booth was so comfortable, Our server quickly arrived with both the regular and RW menus, helped us choose cocktails, which came quickly and were delicious and beautiful. There were 2 RW menus at slightly different prices and I chose from first menu, husband from second, there were a few overlaps but the higher one included several steak options; I had the iceberg wedge salad, shrimp and grits, and key lime pie; husband had a pork belly appetizer, a 16 ounce ribeye, and chocolate bombe. The warm crusty bread and soft seasoned butter were very welcomed. Everything was terrific, met or exceeded expectations. The salad was the best of its kind I've had; the shrimp were colossal and plenty, and the tasso seasoning in the shrimp and grits was perfect. My husband also loved the pork belly which was prepared perfectly, and declared the ribeye to be perfect as well, with a great sear and flavorful and tender. He had been advised by our waiter that the ribeye was served solo, so he ordered grilled asparagus too; The asparagus was also just terrific. The desserts also just delicious, unusual coconut crust on the key lime pie. Service was excellent. My only small issue is that between the upcharge for the ribeye and the need to order a separate side for it really added to the bill and I'd asked for the asparagus to be packed to go along with my shrimp and grits and they didn't .More infoTRIO GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Falls Church•4.7
- JJessicaVIPLas Vegas •10 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had a fantastic 5-course meal + wine pairing at Bresca during restaurant week. Timing, quality, and attentiveness were all above par for a Michelin 1-star. Their Sommelier, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to come by our table to share stories about each of the pairings - she was a rockstar! The rest of the team throughout our service was phenomenal and took great care of our experience. Although the ambiance is somewhat more laid-back than their sister restaurant Jont upstairs, Bresca made for the perfect evening to celebrate our engagement. Will definitely be coming back for their full tasting menu!More infoBrescaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• U Street Corridor•4.6
