Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Black Butte Ranch

We had a wonderful experience. The food was top notch: high quality ingredients, creative cuisine, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. And the service couldn’t have been better. Tommy Joe was terrific: friendly, helpful, and generous with the pours. We were celebrating our anniversary and Bos Taurus not only gave us free glasses of bubbles, they also comped us the amazing fois gras appetizer that was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We got to meet Chef Hector, the Spanish chef, and he was delightful. He spent time chatting with us and told us about his home town in NW Spain. The whole experience could not have been any better. We highly recommend Bos Taurus and definitely plan to go back next time we are in Bend. Outstanding in every way.

Outstanding Fish & Chips because of the softer/thinner batter. Probably the best I've had in years. Of course halibut helps. After no more halibut be sure and use white cod.

We enjoyed an intimate culinary experience with the Wild Rye’s harvest dinner special, which consisted of a four course meal including High Desert beef short rib, grilled rainbow trout, chanterelles, coal-roasted sweet potato, sweet corn, blistered Nine Peak Farm shishitos, local greens and tomatoes, huckleberries, marionberries, and other flavors of the season. Each bite was truly delicious! Add in the impeccable staff & service, live music on the patio, and spectacular views of the sun setting behind the Cascades and you have one the most amazing dining experiences imaginable!

We celebrated our anniversary with another couple celebrating their anniversary as well. This is our third time there for dinner and it never disappoints, on the contrary. We had THE BEST food, and service. It was the clearest night so the view was spectacular. Looking forward to another visit.
