River House at Odette's. Four of us had incredible dinners at Odette's last night. Every dish, every mouthful. The drinks, the food, the service the ambience. Outstanding!. I highly recommend that place for everything. And Liz DuFour was on piano. A perfect evening with the family. Jenny, Brittany, & Langdon.

Really nice first experience at Stella. The gnocchi appetizer was a genuinely well thought out dish that was simple, lite and easy to share (10/10 for sure but you need to serve it with a piece of bread or 2!! That sauce was CRAZY good!). The wine selection is really solid and had some nice options. View of the river was awesome and we had a great meal. Will 100% be keeping this place in rotation. The Iberico pork dish was crazy good and if I didn’t have an appetizer, would have not taken anything home! Good job, Stella

This is our favorite place to eat when in the area. The food is exceptional. We've never had a bad dish. The inn is lovely as well. We usually stay here but it was fully booked so we stayed at another inn down the road.

Chef Greg Vasso’s 7-course tasting menu was nothing short of extraordinary. From the first bite to the last, every course showcased incredible creativity, flawless execution, and a level of attention to detail that rivaled some of the finest dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. The Meringue Roasted Beets, a stunning balance of earthy, sweet, and savory flavors. 10/10 The Hudson Valley Foie Gras Torchon was decadent perfection. it delivered an unforgettable combination of richness, texture, and elegance. The Blue Fin Tuna Crudo was a standout. Every component worked in perfect harmony. The Maine Lobster Squash Blossom may have been one of the top 3 luxurious bites of the evening. it was simply exquisite. The Hokkaido Scallops were cooked flawlessly. The dish beautifully balanced sweetness, richness, and savory depth. My favorite The Duck Breast was a masterclass in technique. Perfectly prepared it delivered comforting flavors while remaining refined and sophisticated. To finish, the Flourless Chocolate Gateau was the ideal ending to an incredible culinary journey. What makes Chef Greg Vasso's tasting menu exceptional isn't just the quality of the ingredients—it's the thoughtful progression of each course and the way every dish tells its own story while contributing to the overall experience. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, and every detail felt intentional. This wasn't simply dinner; it was an experience. If you're looking for a truly memorable culinary adventure, Chef Greg Vasso's tasting menu at The Inn at Barley Sheaf is an absolute must. Five stars simply aren't enough.
