We had an excellent dinner last night at the Public Fosh & Oyster restaurant. The ceviche, calamari and salmon were excellent! But the champion for the night was the cauliflower - superb.

Warm and welcome ambiance as we walked in! We were seated quickly with a reservation, but walk ins were seated at the bar! Service was paced perfectly…water, drinks,app and salad then entree. Food was amazing!! We had a Manhattan and a Local Margarita! Crab soup and Caesar salad came next followed by an amazing Pork Chop and Gnocchi Bolognese!! Cabernet wine with dinner! Pricing was very reasonable and with every penny!

A wonderful dinner with old friends that didn’t disappoint on any level. I’m embarrassed to say I can’t remember our server’s name. She was hands down one of our best serving experiences we’ve had in any Charlottesville restaurant. Major kudos to her!

Table of 8 high maintenance women - last minute reservation on a rainy night at 8pm! Service was excellent and friendly, food was very good. Serving champagne by the glass and proper martinis always gets a gold star from TheQGrandCru!
