Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Washington Heights

While visiting the botanical gardens my boyfriend and I had a wonderful lunch at the Hudson Garden Grill. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service was great as well!

I went to Haven in Edgewater last night for my birthday dinner, and I had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was beautiful and elegant, and the waterfront views made the evening feel even more special. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I loved the upscale vibe without it feeling too formal or stuffy. It was the perfect setting for celebrating my birthday. I would definitely recommend Haven for a birthday dinner, date night, or a nice evening out with friends. I really enjoyed my experience and would absolutely go back again!

For many years Jake's was our go to restaurant for a nice night out. We haven't had a chance the past few years to go back and finally made it for our 10th wedding anniversary. Very pleased to say that the quality of food and service has maintained a standard excellence.

We had a lovely evening at the COV. Perfect evening to sit outside and take in the spectacular skyline views. Delicious food and dessert, great drinks and a very courteous, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Top notch! Love this restaurant and can't wait to go back.
