Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Wine Country

Absolutely great location to dine. Beautiful restaurant and phenomenal food. Service was outstanding. We chose Press over the French Laundry for this trip and have no regrets.

It's always a pleasure to come here, especially on my birthday! I was thrilled to see that there was a Chinese menu. I'm local, so I always set my expectations appropriately for Chinese food outside of San Francisco and in a small town in general, but I was honestly very impressed. The waiter we had was a young blonde guy and he was really polite and attentive despite also being very busy himself. My favorite thing that I had on the menu was the cumin lamb noodles. Delightfully earthy with a good numbing spice, and although I could've had it spicier it was still great and balanced. The crispy taro puffs with the xo sauce were excellent also! Everything was quite good as usual. As always, I will return.

Everything was just perfect! We had the campfire trout and it was absolutely amazing! The mashed potatoes were honestly from heaven , best we have ever had. The service was excellent, the staff was warm and welcoming and explained the meals and beverage options. It was truly one of our best meal experiences of our month long California trip. Do not miss this Gem.

Warm burrata sppitizer was wonderful. Steak was render done to perfection. Waiter was very attentive.
