Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Bayswater, London

Hell’s Kitchen London was incredible. The tuna tartare, wagyu meatballs, scallops and harissa flatbread were fantastic starters, followed by a perfectly cooked ribeye and a delicious lobster risotto. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect finish, and the cocktails were outstanding throughout the evening. The service was exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Emma, who looked after us brilliantly and helped make the night so memorable. If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish.

For a great meal with great service you cannot go past The Stablehand but make sure you pre book as this is a favourite for locals and visitors a like. Highly recommend the Sunday Roast if you are in London.

We love visiting the Holmes. Always assured a warm welcome, we visit with our dogs regularly when in London. Food is fabulous and casual but tasty. The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating Good selection of wines and beers and great value.

We came in for a late dinner and the atmosphere in the pub was fantastic. We ordered the steak and the burger, and both were absolutely delicious — cooked on a real open-fire grill, which made such a difference. The staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for wines and cocktails. We’ve just moved to the area and will definitely be coming back!
