Best Contemporary British Restaurants in Ashill

Lovely evening which is what we now expect from The Bank House which is a reliably good place to eat and relax. Food was hot and delicious. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We had a guest with us from Essex who said said the sea bass was the best she’d tasted. Malbec was a bit too dry for our taste but otherwise no complaints!

Quite simply a lovely evening... setting, service, quality of cooking, wine and ease of access. Fish in particular was exceptionally good.

Superb lunch with our friends. I love that you are not crowded in and you can hear conversation across the table. Service efficient and friendly and the food stunning!

Staff were very pleasant. New menu from previous visit with excellent choice of starters. A good selection of main dishes. The food was very nice including a carrot cake cheesecake! Drinks are reasonably priced compared to other venues. Only criticism, I felt the staff could have kept a closer eye on the tables in case further drinks ect required. We look forward to another visit.

Friendly pub, extensive menu, plenty of seating, small carpark but spaces on the road.
