**An Exceptional Dining Experience** We had a fabulous evening at The Legacy at The Grand, York, enjoying the Steel Food Journey paired with the Classic Wine Flight. The food was exceptional, with every course beautifully presented and a real pleasure to experience. What truly made the evening stand out, though, was the unbelievable service from the team - special mention to Ale, Sam, Emily & Ben. Their attention to detail, genuine warmth and willingness to go the extra mile, with thoughtful little touches throughout the evening, made the whole experience feel even more special. A wonderful combination of outstanding food, excellent wines and service that goes above and beyond. Highly recommended for a truly memorable dining experience!

We went on a Thursday eve for the 5 course meal. It was fairly quiet. Missed seeing Chef Jono but he has to have some time off ! The service was excellent, attentive without being off putting. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. Think the favourite was the not the French onion soup! We had the wine flight which complimented each course. Love the play list it adds brilliantly to the ambience! It wasn’t our first visit and certainly won’t be our last !

Wonderful tasty food in a lovely relaxing setting with efficient service! Would thoroughly recommend for couples and families too. Value for money with two meals for £29 which is cheaper than some of the more expensive pub eateries.

The menu has changed since our last visit and included one or two new dishes, Seabream which my wife loves and duck breast , one of my favourites. One of the nice things about this venue is that staff who remember us from previous visits come over to talk to us even if they are not serving our part of the restaurant. Never disappoints.

Booked here for a birthday meal, I made the mistake of looking at the sample menu online so was a bit disappointed that there were no scallops on the menu. We were surprised with the range of starters, given its a fish/ seafood restaurant only two of the starters were seafood. Better choice for the main course. We both had hake and it was beautifully cooked. Waitress was wonderful, very kind and attentive, offered to take the wine we had chosen back and swap it for something else. The wine list is wholly Australian / New Zealand so flummoxed us a bit as were used to drinking European wine. Overall a nice evening
