Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Bucktown / Wicker Park

Our waiter was great and knew exactly when we needed help finding a dish and when we needed space to chat. The food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. We will definitely return.

We had an evening of evenings! Elizabeth welcomed us, made recommendations and took care of us the entire evening. She could not have been better! The ambiance as well as our drinks and meal created the best restaurant experience we’ve had in recent memory, and we’ve had great experiences. The Alston is hands down a step above and beyond the best.

We had a wonderful meal. Every dish was special and it was so nice that the plates were shareable so we were able to try so many items. The brie gougères were outstanding! The atmosphere was relaxed and service was attentive. 12/10

Had a nice work lunch at Francois Frankie. Basic cobb salad was fresh and well prepared. Service outside was very attentive. Only negative is that sitting outside on the sidewalk you are adjacent to a parking garage, so view is not so great.
