Buca d’Oro is one of our favorite Philly restaurants. We love eating there before attending the plays at the Walnut Street Theatre. The food is always well prepared and delicious; service is always attentive and friendly, and the prices are extremely affordable, especially with the added discount they give to theatergoers.

Pretty little room and very comfortable space. David, one of the owners, is a gracious and welcoming host. The menu is small, but well selected with excellent preparation. There were 3 of us, each ordering a different pasta entree; tagliatelle with lamb ragú, spaghetti bolognese and fettuccini with sausage - all declared delicious. We will all definitely return to try the other offerings. Three very satisfied diners.
