Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Lewisham

Excellent as usual! Great team, food and service. I’ve never had a disappointing time at Elliot’s!

We had a lovely evening in Legare. The restaurant was just as we had hoped, with a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere, very nice and interesting food and a reasonably priced wine list. The veal chop was outstanding: very large beautifully cooked with a very tasty crust and a rich and delicious sauce. The ravioli was superb. The carpaccio of monkfish another outstanding dish. The pasta with sage and butter had however, a rather overpowering sage flavour. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be back!

Giorgio makes one of the best pizzas in town!!! Ingredients are fresh and delicious, and his dough is so light and airy. Just perfect! (A Neapolitan here, so hard to please when it comes to pizza) Not to mention his tiramisu…. Definitely definitely worth checking the place out.

Had a lovely experience at Brera Lounge! The food and atmosphere were great, but what really stood out was the service. Anu did a fantastic job looking after us — she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
