Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Peoria

We have enjoyed lunch here for many years. Always sharing the mussels and the bolognese. Everything on the menu is well prepared. Outdoor seating is great. The tiramisu is outstanding, plenty for 2 to share. Enjoy!

One of my favorite spots in the valley! Fantastic every time!

Our daughter recommended Fat Ox. It was one of the best meals we have ever had. Maybe the best! The cocktails were great. Imagine that. A lot of restaurants cocktails taste and feel like a mocktail, not a Fat Ox. Our waitress Chrissy was so lovely and helpful. She had a couple of fun stories too. We also got the table made Caesar Salad. Wow, delish. Joey made it for us and was great asking if we wanted anything added. We also had the grilled Octopus which was fantastic. I had Cacio e Pepe which I loved. My husband had the Radiatori and loved it. We ended with Tiramisu and Butterscotch pudding. Yes, it’s a lot for two, but it was so good we finished it all. Great place with a great atmosphere and decor. Perhaps, a tad loud, but there were two parties going on. Highly recommend. You’d be lucky to have Chrissy and Joey as your servers.

Our sever was extremely nice and helpful! It made our dinner more enjoyable. We went our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful time! There are some new features on their seasonal menu that we will be back to try!
